Default "Fun" ebay user using shills?

I really wonder about some of the auctions like this
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...95500&rd=1

Here you have 31 bids on a custom machine (and not that great) with 4 days left and this ebayer always keeps the auctions private so you can't see the name. I have looked at a few of his auctions and it seems the bidders follow a pattern.

I may be totally wrong (I have been wrong once before in my life)

Ebay is the Wild Wild West

He really likes the ol' Conti 4X... Must have gotten a deal on those. This fella is making some good money with simple custom jobs.

He not only has a lot of nasty negative feedbacks, but tons of Neutrals. Vicious and sarcastic responses back from him, too. No way I'd buy from this guy. But, obviously a lot of people have and do.

    Take a look:

I'd say you have to have something to hide, if you're hiding somthing...

To many a man, and sometimes to a youth, there comes the opportunity to choose between honorable competence and tainted wealth. The young man who starts out to be poor and honorable, holds in his hand one of the strongest elements of success.

Why would anybody ever bid on an auction that is private or hidden...I don't care even if he had a 100% positive rating that is one vendor that I shy away from PERIOD!

I won't bid on private aucitons. Too much chance for shilling and unless you're shilling, why use it?

No, buying from FUN would be like buying a Barbie doll to play with. Fake rack!

I wouldn't deal with anyone with a privite auction either, theres no real good reason to have to hide this information, unless you have something to hide.

There's at least one other major dealer on Ebay that uses this private auction stuff also. But they claim it is to protect the bidders :smt043
