    Default Error code LOTR

I am getting an error code 7 on my LOTR pachinko, and I am new to modern pachinko (have had a vintage machine > 30 Yrs.). The manual says "Payout full sensor registers empty" What does it mean? How do I fix it.
    Thanks for any help. :-(

Have you filled the top hopper with balls?

yes, the ball hopper is full. I have hit reset button and even unplugged and shook machine a little to loosen any balls that could be stuck.

If you have a small hole in the case in the upper left hand side, pushing straightened paper clip in there will press a switch that will release all the balls in the machine. You should also be able to get to this switch from behind the machine if it's not in a cabinet. This should cure any ball jam that may have occured. Be sure and fill that hopper again before starting to play again.

Don't see a small hole or a switch. My vintage machine has one so I know about the paper clip trick with it. Will keep looking. Anything else I can try?

That's all I can suggest at the moment. It has that switch I just don't know where it is on this model. We have a user Arby who owns one of these machines and he'll be on again tomorrow and he might be able to help out a bit more.

Thanks for the help. I found the problem, but not the switch. Looking at the back and manually unloading the machine, I found a ball that was larger than
your standard pachinko ball. It was blocking one of the tracks. I removed it and refilled the hopper. Things work great now. I am going to get my sling shot and launch the ball into low orbit . Thanks again!!!

It wasn't one of them colored balls was it? Several people have reported problems with some of them being too big and causing a jam.

Did the bad ball have any engraving on it?

No it was a chrome ball, no marking and noticeably bigger (1-2mm larger) :smt102 Don't know where it came from, but it's gone now.
