Default Question about payouts Fevers and ball Capacity

Ok, my Obake Land is a Fever Addict. I can get it to Fever about 4x a week and probably more if I played more often (But I actually DO need to work)

So here's my question. When this machine Fevers it will dispense (depending on how may balls I shoot into the window/door) about 2000 balls. This becomes a problem and I have to have someone feed the ball tray so I don't run out and get the error lockup. Would a ball return help in this situation? Would it be feasable to add more capacity to the ball tray at the top of the machine? How do they handle this in a parlor? there must be some solution other than hand loading balls by the pound while the machine is blowing them back out. I can only get to round 15 before we give up the ghost and can't load the balls fast enough.

    Any solutions?

    Thanks

Yes you can add to the storage of the top ball tray. I made these for my machines about 2 years ago and have had no trouble at all with them. Others have made better looking mods but it is hard to beat free when spare cardboard is around

So as not to create a new thread, is the OBAKE LAND compatible with a battle counter?

lots of balls... build a hopper or a cabinet to hold a couple thousand on top.

or, a ball lifter, like mopar said.

or, if the machine doesn't shut down during the fever round, due to lack of payouts, you could just sit back and enjoy the show (as ttc does sometimes)... since you're not in a parlor trying to win all the balls you can

I don't know the specifics of battle counters, but gaku's pachicounter will count balls shot and won for any machine, by putting sensors in the appropriate ball paths.

here's a quick video that shows how it works

Just about every pachinko machine is compatible in one sense or another. Very earliest were just lights and or bells, then came units that just counted bonuses. Now they do all kinds of things.

Yours is new enough to have all three of the standard connections. Should be in the upper right (these could be frame connections also) or behind that big opaque cover on the back. The first trick is finding them, then translating them, then finding out if they're voltage or contact. Then getting a worthwhile counter. Gaku's takes a little work to integrate, but it is very nice!
