Smile Vintage in modern day Parlour??

I saw this on my YouTube travels and thought I'd share

YouTube - Why I hate pachinko.

I was amazed to see a Vintage Pachinko in the window / display of a Pachinko Parlour!!

Looks like a Nishijin and it's been rigged to flick the lever to fire the balls

I wonder how many other Vintages are still enjoying life in the modern day Parlours??

Its odd how you can see some place far away, and feel like you belong there...

(sigh!) Ahh Hail the Ginza Strip.

I'm in!! My wife wanted to go to Bali a few years ago, we didn't go because of all the bombings. Japan seems safer. Is that a fair assumption or am I misinformed?

I was thinking the same thing... ROAD TRIP! (Seriously!)

Maybe we should start another thread on Locations to Visit.
I think I could afford to go if I stopped buying pachinko machines for a year...
(Who am I kidding? I'll go without FOOD first! )

Just for the heck of it I did a search for Tokyo Travel Packages to get an idea of what was out there. This is the first thing that popped up.

Asia Transpacific Journeys - Experience Japan: Luxury Travel & Tours

Looks pretty interesting. Small group tour (18 people), 13 days, $8995 per person. Looks like the flight would be around $1,000 from the east coast. (thought it would be more)

I bet we could plan our own tour and do our own thing a lot cheaper.

Didn't edit fast enough. Replying to my own post. I did some more searching and this one seems a lot more reasonable. From $2700 for 7 days, air included.
