    Default I need Help!!!

Hi Everyone. I am a brand new member to this website.

Here is my problem. I had a pachinko machine as a kid and loved it, but being a kid did not take care of it and it went bye bye.

Now with 2 kids of my own I want to give them the same awesome experience as I did but I live in Canada!! ( British Columbia)

Why is it so hard to find companies or people who will ship to Canada?!?!?!

The stuff that WILL come to Canada is usually old and overpriced.

    Any advice???

    Thanks in advance.

    Radiolad,

    Welcome to the board!

Have you tried contacting the major ebay sellers and ask what their shipping charges would be to you? I am thinking of dealers like texasauction, demo777, slotusa, etc.

Once we know that amount, then are there customs fees?

Do you live close enough to the US border that you could arrange a delivery in a nearby US city and take it across the border and possibly save money?

There are a couple of members here who live in BC if I'm not mistaken. Perhaps you could contact them regarding their buying sources.

do you know anyone in the us that you could have it shipped to and then have them bring it to you? i go to canada here and there and took a bowflex machine across the border so they wouldnt be taxed on it and theres usually no problem with getting stuff across.

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone south of the border and since I live on Vancouver Island, arranging a dropoff point say, in Seattle and the trip to get it would cost me bigtime.
I have tried e-mailing a lot of the ebay folks and most say they wont or it will cost them their license(?????)

Thanks again for your replies and keep em coming!!

If i went to canada more regularly id be willing to take a machine across the border and ship it to you from there, but i only go occassionaly.
