Default Early 50s Monako Single Shot

Just wanted to share some pictures of a Monako single shot that I bought. A really beautiful machine that was restored to fantastic condition.

NOW THAT IS ONE CLEAN MACHINE!

I think this goes to the point of how a good retoration of a Classic Vintage machine can certainly add value!

    Awesome machine!

Thanks! Unfortunately, I cannot claim the restoration job. I saw it on e-bay very soon after being posted and could not resist. It is just too nice. Plays very well (generous on the payoffs now that I made a few "friendly" nail adjustments).

Here is a description of the work:

You are bidding on a rare early 50's Vintage Monako Pachinko Machine. This machine has been completely reconditioned. All brass parts have been cleaned. All brass screws and nails have been replaced. All sheet metal has been sandblasted and flat clear coated. Front case has been repainted and rear case has been stained and varnished.

Very nice guy, a lot of hours invested for sure. I also bought a Nishijin with the side pocket jackpots from him that is just as nice. Arrives next Wed.

I had stopped at his home and he showed me that machine about three weeks ago. I had called him about another machine and he had me stop to look at what he had done while I was in Carson City. Does superior work but does not collect. He works at a place that has a machine shop and they do all of the metal repair for him. Had quite a nice visit.
He has put alot of machines up for sale and like everybody else said his refinish jobs are great.

He is a really nice guy. Very easy to deal with. I just really liked this machine and went for it. Like many of us, I just need to figure out how to charge money for the pachinko parlor that my house has become.
