I did not know we were having a contest on groans.

The story on the powerflash is too long to tell. The short version was I bought if off of some crummy pictures on craigs list and to get it I had to buy three machines. Damage was artfully concealed with a flash bulb. The people that sold them to me hauled them from Mesa Arizona to Portland Oregon where I picked them up.

You live and learn and that was one of my first craigs list purchases. The one caveat was the mechanism was sound and works well. With all of the great refurbishing going on Mopar took on the job to start to refurbish it. Am hoping to pick it up next weekend. Wonder how he is doing???

I remember seeing that ad from AZ. You're right, you couldn't see any cell damage from the photos. Always a chance you take especially with Craigslist photos but at least mechanically it's sound. Can't wait to see pics of you're fully refurbished machine when you pick it up this weekend!

Yes I cannot wait. Mopar should have to make a trip up to my place with it if he does not make it in time. Especially as I am hauling down a load of stuff for him.
