Pachinko terms translated - agree/disagree?

I've attempted a small, starter (only) Japanese pachinko terms ==> English glossary, and I was wondering if you agree, disagree, have additions, subtractions etc?

Its certainly not perfect nor comprehensive yet - anyone care to add their 2 cents worth?

Or perhaps you have a request for a popular term(s) you want to see?

I've seen other discussions on this before, but translations of the engraving on the pachinko balls themselves would be great.

I think I've seen that they are generally parlor names, but the times I've tried to use online tools to translate, it gives me a headache.

What you've done so far is terrific though, I like it, as well as the rest of your site.

I enjoy both hobbies and feel you interpretation is divisive and does not capture the spirit of this website.

...and I didn't take the tongue-in-cheek definition of pachislo as divisive. I think it was really just saying that his site was for pachinko-only and that you wouldn't find any pachislo info there. In the same fun spirit, the light and dark sides are always teasing each other here as well.

I still wouldn't want to turn someone away. I've received help on problems from the most unlikely sources before. But as you said that is his site and he can do as he wants. Maybe add a link after the definition to Pachitalk to help direct folks to the right place for help and information.

Thanks for the thoughts Mike - any particular balls you want done now? These are inevitably written in katakana, and very easy for me to do on the spot. Just post a photo and I'll do it for ya same day.

It was a joke ebb, and meant to take a dig at the devisive spirit that (sometimes serious, sometimes not) pervades the two 'camps'. Perhaps I should have a smiley face after it? I think I will add that.

The site is clearly, and very clearly I think, explained in the 'Machines' section, and from the very first page, as being ONLY about 'mono' pachinko machines and nothing to do with pachi-slo. No need to pack your bags, but my site is not for coverage of Pachislo - simple as that. I have no interest in them, and there are plenty of other sites that do a great job of covering them.

I already have a link to PachiTalk in my 'Links' section, BTW, and have had from Day 1.
