POLL: How Many Tokens per Machine?

Just curious -- how many tokens do people here in the forum normally stock their machines with?

i keep from 750 to 1,250, it depends how many of each kind of tokens i have,

i usually don't mixed them up.

except for japanese ones.

I like to assign 1500 per machine. I put 1000 in the hopper and 500 in a cup to play. I then have about an extra 2500 just in a big tub (for parties to give out).

So far I've only got the 2 machines (with 2 more in my sights, though)....I've got 1,500 in Lucky Cats and 1,250 in Yeti. Largest jackpot I've hit on LC is about 650 coins in what I term an extended bonus round (normal for payout for ME has been under 400). Yeti I don't know how many it's dumped, it doesn't keep track or I don't read it right..either way, I haven't got any hopper errors during bonus rounds on EITHER machine unless I meant to test the alarms/etc. I'm debating on simply getting another 1,000 tokens each time a machine comes thru the door...Especially if I get the token trays like I've got now...VERY handy, especially when LC chokes up all those tokens! :smt078

As the number of machines you have goes up (I have 30) the number of tokens you need per machine goes down, because your pool of "playing" tokens does not need to be as large, percentage-wise. That is, if you rarely have more than 10 people over one time, they don't need any more tokens to play 30 machines (or 100 machines) than they do to play just 15 machines.

So I figure I need 400 to 500 per machine to stock the hopper, plus about 5,000.

If a machine runs out, no big deal. The HE error sound effects adds a little excitement, and people like the idea that they won so much they cleaned out the machine and you had to put more tokens in.

I only have one machine right now (with another on the way). I have 5000 tokens on the way from slotsusa and plan to just fill the hoppers to the top.

I use about 1500 with each of my machines (the Harley gets 2000 and needs it!) only because I don't like to keep refilling the hopper. 8-)

I have about 6800 tokens total split among 4 machines (1700 each). 1200 in the hopper, 500 for play.

I fill them up and let the overflow bucket catch what ever wont stay in the hopper, than empty the OF every now and again
