Default anything special about this Sophia machine?

I found one for sale and the owner wants 125 for it..seems high, but appears to be in great shape. Anything special about it? I am trying to figure out what 15 means and what the right hand side does.

    thanks, Bob

Nice looking machine!! There doesn't appear to be any stains on the cell. A picture of the back would help us determine if there is anything "special" about it, or if all of the necessary parts are there. I have a Nishijin model 'C' that has a play field very similar to that one ("all 15", foul ball track), so I am going to guess that this is a 'C' and was made sometime in the late 1970's.

I personally wouldn't pay over $50 for it, but I guess it really depends on how badly you want it and what it ultimately is worth to you.

    Good luck!

I agree with Jeff. it looks a lot like a model C, which is a less common model of nishijin's than the A's or B's.

see if you can get a picture of the back, to be sure that it's all there.

I paid $65 for my "C" b/c I didn't have one yet. it just depends on what it is worth to you

the cell does look nice, though.

Looks to be a nice clean Machine.. if it is a modle"C" then i think its worth a bit more.. (more being more then a "B" or "A")

in nice condition like that one appers to be in.. and assuming eveything is there front and back.. try and talk him down..'

just be carefull the last machine i bought with croped pictures was busted all to hell

    good luck

From what i can see, it has a really nice cell

I would make sure you get some more pics, full length of the front and back and some close ups too

if the rest of the pachinko is in as good condition as the cell appears to be, then i would go for it

Does it come with any pachinko balls??

You could also use that to help with any haggling on price

A few C models have sold lately on e-bay. All went for over $100. If everything is in good shape, not really a bad purchase. You don't see that many Cs & the center jackpot is pretty cool.
