I always conduct myself on eBay the same way I expect others to behave towards me, I know it's not a perfect world out there, so I make sure to read the Sellers Feedback before I make a decision on whether to buy or not, and that doesn't always mean I only deal with 100% people either,

Hopefully both sides of this particular dispute have learnt from this experience...

    An update:

I contacted ebay and reported her for harrasment and extortion. Ebay agreed with me 100 percent and sent her a cease and disist email. Her mistake she made was sending me the threats of sueing and such as part of the ebay respond to which in turn made ebay liable for the email. So they do not want any part of that and tell me that she is going way beyond the point of harrassment. They say I received my item strike and suspension of my account which is enough for them. They say she will be investigated since come to find out she has threatened other people before with attorney's etc...look at her feedback it is scary. So we will see what happens to her after I reported her for harrassment. I have not received an email today from her which suprises me so maybe the cease and disist was enough to get her off my back. I am putting the auction link for the item in this thread for all to see, check her feedback and others what they have said about her and you will see I am not the only one that had to deal with this psycho ebayer.

Hachiman Gaming Computer Quad Core - eBay (item 150374579090 end time Sep-27-09 20:04:56 PDT)

    her ebay name is my4littlegirlswithautism

and a side note I agree with what everyone posted about not bidding on something without the money, but you do not have the whole story on this bid, and I don't feel like explaining it all you everyone. But remember this I have learned my lesson and will no longer be using ebay for ANYthing in the future. I am human I make mistakes, I am sure we all have had buyers remorse some time or another in our lives. This lady by the way she has conducted herself with me will not receive 1 RED cent from me ever.

Very tacky seller... The seller lists in several auctions that the motherboard will be "Intel / Foxconn / Biostar". I personally will not own a Biostar motherboard, and find it ridiculous that the seller doesn't clearly state what is in these systems. That DOES make a difference! Based on the price of this auction, and some of the others she has listed; these systems are not made with the best components, and do not include a legitimate copy of Windows. I would NEVER attempt to deceive my customers like this, or sell them substandard junk parts! Basically what she is doing is leaving the description open so she can throw whatever parts she can get cheap into these systems then just shovel the crap out the door.

So we've all agreed that you probably should not have bid, but we've also agreed it's part of doing business on Ebay to deal with non-payers, etc, and she's psychotic. I'd post her user name in a half dozen forums so other people know how she conducts herself. In my business, I would NEVER act like she did. If a customer walks away, they walk away. There is something known as a "cost of doing business" and even losing her listing fees would fall into that category. As I said before, I do think it's the right thing to pay those listing fees for her, but if you don't, that's a cost of doing business.

Oh- OK I didn't see all the vague descriptions. She's nuts...

Here is basically what that system is when you go by the details at the bottom of the auction page and not the misleading main description. The system I've configured below is giving this person the benefit of the doubt, and may include better hardware than what they are offering. The specs are the same and should give you an idea of what the system really is. Also, as you can see they are ether losing money on these, stealing parts, and/or not including a legit copy of Windows. Other than that; there is no way they are making money.

"Cost of doing business" is preparing your auction, Taking photo's and editing them., writing a description, paying the listing fee's. Answering questions, Time spent sending invoices, packaging materials, cost of shipping and a trip to the post office, follow up to make sure your customer's are happy. PayPal and ebay final value fee's.

I do agree that this particular seller is not someone who I would want to do business with, but don't justify non-payers as CoDB. That's BS.

If you don't want to play by eBay's rules the don't push the bid button.

    That sounds absolutely delicious.
I referenced the type of mushrooms Don Quixote may have encountered.

Of course I did this at compirate expense to which I'm completely indebted.

There seems to be two separate discussions going on here. Bidders who don't pay and what are there obligations both legally and morally and the actions of a seller to collect on a debt.
Though in this case there is a cause and effect.

I've read the seller feedback and her corespondents, the lady lost it a long time ago. I haven't and I won't defend her action but I can understand her frustration.

Well... I am thinking that if her seller name reflects her actual life, she doesn't have it easy. That being said, this was a bad transaction for both parties.
