    Default 1st Pachi Possibility Perchance?

    Hello All,

I was doing my daily search on CL and this showed up about an hour away from me. I have e-mailed the seller for close-up pics. But wanted first impressions and maybe an idea of what it might be. I looked at the museum and it looks like a Mizuho to this very untrained eye.

Thanks as usual for the wonderful help.

Hard to tell with such small pictures. How much is the seller asking?

You're going to need some good clear close-ups, especially of the cell face

very difficult to see if any water staining, etc

Thanks! If the cell is in great condition and all of the pieces are there, then it is probably worth about $50. Won't know for sure until we get some larger photos.

Here are the close-ups. Well, better quality pics anyways.

From my untrained eye, looks like some water stain issues.

I agree about the water stains. Looks kind of bad. Also, the jackpot see-saw cover is missing from the back. The machine will still work without, but it would be nice to have.

If you still want the machine, I would offer $25 and see what they say.

    Good luck!

sometimes it's hard to tell what's water stain and what's on the glass.

can you get the seller to open the door and take a picture? tell him/her about the latch behind the left side (as you face the machine). this will give you a clearer picture, before you drive an hour.

Those are upside down shelf brackets bolted to it.

    Hi,

I received this response this morning with the attached pictures:

    "Ron,
The discoloration wipes off leaving only the slightest bit of staining, only noticeable when you're looking for it. I was able to do some test cleaning with a paper towel, so I've attached a before and after shot."

    Thoughts?

it's not bad, really. probably more dirt stains on the cell than water stains. I think there are some faint ones around the arcs of nails at the top, but they are not that noticeable.

see if he'll take $40. tell him there are 2 plastic covers missing on the back.

    good luck.

    Hi Sigrah,

You are correct that is a Mizuho. It is fancier than mine so I am assuming late 70's or early 80's.
