Spooner, I am very much interested in this type of mod. I also like the credit mod. I can do my own soldering. If that ends up to be cheaper.

The Auto-slot seller did a great job of getting me a new unit quickly. New configuration...Most issues solved... Still have issues with Sammy and IGT.

Sorry for the delay in responding to this (and every other) post. I had to leave town unexpectedly do to a family emergency. I will not be back until this weekend. When I get back, I will continue work on the plug and play mod for this autostop mod. I will provide the plans at no cost or I will make the kit and send it for my cost.

Thanks in advance for understanding. ~spooner

I have made my prototype plug and play board and it is working, but I need to make a few refinements to make it less expensive. Just to clarify, all my kit will provide is a plug and play solution that uses the PachisloUSA chip It basically provides a socket (just like the one that comes with the PachisloUSA chip) that is pre-soldered on a board with all of the necessary wires and connectors already attached.

All you will have to do is plug the PachisloUSA chip into my board, mount the board near the reel stop board, use the provided probe clips to attach to the correct points on the reel stop boards and coin mechanism and spin lever, and you will be good to go.

All my kit does is keep you from having to permanently modify your machine, and keeps you from having to do any soldering whatsoever.

I have a working prototype completed and working in my Lucky Cherry, however, I found a way to make it much cheaper so I want to do that before I let it out into the wild.

What I will be providing is free photos, and a parts list for making the solder free board yourself, or I will sell you the pre-soldered kit for my cost.

I hope I did not mislead anyone. As far as when it will be ready, I had a family emergency, so it set me back a week, but I should be done by this Friday or Saturday.

I hope this answers your questions. Thanks. ~spooner

I really appreciate all of the support I have received from this group regarding my family. Just to let you all know what is going on; my father in-law is in very bad health. He underwent a quadruple bypass at the end of last week, and is recovering slowly.

We are praying for God's will on this, but we are selfish and would love to keep him around longer.

I appreciate all of the well wishes and prayers for me and my family.

I actually find this place very therapeutic. It helps me get away and get my mind off of things for at least a few minutes each day.

I am still attempting to get the plans for the plug and play adapter for the PachisloUSA adapter done this week, however, my tools are not with me so it is taking a little longer than I had hoped.

The good news is that if you decide to purchase the chip from PachisloUSA now, you will still be able to use it in my plug and play device.

I would like a little input. So far, it looks like the parts for the kit will cost me about $15 each (if I purchase all of the components in bulk).

I will assemble the kit for free, as time permits, so if you purchased the chip from PachisloUSA as well as my assembled kit, you would end up paying about $32 including shipping (since you would have to pay shipping from both of us)

If I get enough interest, I could purchase enough quantity of both chips and components to bring the price down to approximately $20 per kit and chip including shipping.

Let me know how all of you feel about this.

    Thanks. ~spooner

Default i'm back and thanks for the well wishes ...

    Greetings to you all,

I really appreciate the prayers and well wishes. My father-in-law is doing pretty well all things considered.

I just got back home this evening so I can finally commit time to building these kits. I do have a ton of other work piled up waiting for me, but I have to allow "me" time to advance the hobby :-)

I ordered all of the parts today in bulk, including the chips from PachisloUSA.

I let Robert at PachisloUSA know of my plans and he has been very encouraging.

This weekend, I will assemble a complete kit using the one chip I currently have left. I will take photos and post them so you can all see what the board looks like and where and how it is connected to the machine itself.

As soon as I get the parts, I will send the assembled kits out as fast as I can make them.

Thanks for your continued interest. ~spooner

    Default update

Great news! I just received half of the components I need to construct the clip on kit. I do not yet have the chips, however, I can go ahead and start constructing the boards with sockets and plug in the chips when they come in.

I will take photos of the process and post them when I have finished, along with a document supplement to the PachisloUSA instructions and a parts list, in case you want to make your own, although it will probably be cheaper to buy one from me since I have purchased the parts in bulk.

I will start working on these this weekend and keep you all posted.

It won't be long now! ~spooner
