The others plug into the board but are on average fifty bucks. This one is a little cheaper. Only Pachislo USA has one with the credit mod. on it.

The credit mod is the only thing I'd be interested in.

What sort of time frame are you looking at Spooner?
Because of my work load, I think it will be a couple of weeks before I can finish this.

I also wanted to note that the other advantage of this mod besides for the price and auto credit feature is that it connects to the reel stop board of which there are only two different types so it should work in any machine regardless of the model or manufacturer.

    Thanks. ~spooner

    Default super chip

just installed my first superchip in my hot-area. works great!! only thing i see is if i try to set timing between reel stops too long the chip dumps and machine must be powered down for 15-20 secs to allow chip to reset. no problem! just wonder if anyone else has seen this?

I was going to try the Auto-Slot one, simply because I indifferent on the Credit mod and don't really want to solder the board since I seem to buy and sell my machines too often.

I received one of these today. For me, so far, it is a complete failure. Tried it in 5 machines of 3 different brands (Yamasa, Sammy and IGT.) Nothing works in any machine. Each brand fails
in a different manner. I've e-mailed the seller. How he responds will determine whether I can recommend this product and vendor or not.

update, as of 2/19, they have responded quickly and are working to make sure I get a good unit ASAP.

update, as of 2/22 I have a new unit in an updated configuration. This unit is verified to work GREAT in my Pioneer, Yamasa, and Olympia machines. It does not work with my Sammy/Aristocrat, or my IGT machines. Vince has provided me with OUTSTANDING service.

I don't know if it helps or not but I should have my plans for the no solder connection of the mod chip available within a week, and, I will even make the kit for you for my cost plus shipping when it is done.

That is if there is still any interest in it. I already have it working in 3 machines, but I want to pair down the package to save on cost before I release it in the wild.

Let me know if there is still interest. ~spooner

I'll take one, or more as long as it features the auto-credit mod.

Give me 4 or 5 days and I will be ready to bust out with it. Are most of you thinking of having me do the soldering on the kit (not on the slot) or are you thinking of doing it yourself? (Once again, no soldering will be required on the slot machine itself ... I promise :-) ) Oh, by the way. Is there any interest in the auto credit mod? :-?

    Just curious. ~spooner

I can handle the soldering myself. :-)

I really don't think that anyone is interested in that auto-credit mod. Nope, we want that auto reel stop action. Can you also reprogram it to eliminate most of the music and lights? Oh and make it pay out all at once too! :-?

I can handle the soldering. I will say this one more time! If it does'nt have the credit mod there are other prodocts out there that do the same thing and I don't want thoughs ether! If I would have did this in capitals I would be screaming. I got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

Just to follow up on the autoslot mod. The seller has responded very quickly in a positive way. I should have a new unit in the next day or two. He has offered me a full refund if this doesn't change the problem.

Spooner, which brands of machines have you tried this in? Have you tried it in a Yamasa machine yet? From my experience with the autoslot, the Yamasas seem to interact with the reel stop board in a different manner than my Sammys or IGTs

    Spooner...
    I might be interested.
AND YES... do the credit mod!!!
Are you doing this on a custom PCB, making your own, or using a perf-board?
Also, will you be using plugs or taps?

Newbe here, I'm interested, but I'm one of those solder phobic people, I'd prefer something I can just plug and play.
    Thanks

For those of you who want to install without soldering, use microclips, cheap , easy to use and non altering.

Having said this, I am still interested in your solution as well count me in on buying one.
