    Default Newbie needing help

Got this from a yard sale for $35 and the balls are original. The thing I need help on is the jackpot is not working for some reason.. I play and play and get the balls in the little cubby holes I guess you could call them and I don't get anything in return. I studied it for hours and got a grasp on how it worked and then I decided to find a forum for this game. Another thing I would like to know is how to rewire the lights back up and fix the jackpot sensor. Here is a link to picks of the game.

I can insert the pics in this thread if anyone would like.

Please don't hesitate on asking me questions to help me fix this. Its fun and would be funner if the jackpot worked.

    Thanks in advance!

    welcome to pachitalk.

it does look like if you push the jackpot regulator seesaw up on the right, this might get things going.

please use the advanced mode to add pictures here. some of us cannot access pix from outside websites when we are at work.

a whole picture of the front and back would be nice, too.

search the vintage forums and you will find lots of info. rusty wrote a nice summary of how a vintage works.

I have a couple vids on wiring if you're interested.

    YouTube - pachinko daiichi electrical

    YouTube - pachinko sanyo electrical

have fun and ask questions after you have researched the forum a bit.

In case you are not sure about what button they are talking about.
In picture 6 it will be the white plunger looking thing sticking out from the bottom of the yellow box.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

Our first vintage was doing the same thing and it was just a back up of wins...the previous pachi members are right, just clear those out and should be back to normal. Welcome to Pachitalk!

that pivot point will need to be taken apart and cleaned.. no oil no grease.. it sould work with no lubracation at all..

try cleaning ti really good and polishing the pivot nail..

once done the piece your calling "teter tator" should always return to the up position after a jackpot has payed..

a ball enters the "teter tator".. its job is to allow only one ball at a time into the jackpot arm.. one ball falls onto the jackpot arm swinging down.. that inturn lofts the rod on the right side droping the jackpot.. (your video moves in a clock wise motion) the pachinko kida works in a counter clock wise direction...

after the jackpot has droped its winning balls there should be a rod to pull your "teter tator" back up.. once it is in the up position another ball can start the payout cycle all over again..

    hope this helps

    Essential universal pachinko information:

Low payout sphere supply will cause the machine to malfunction.

I can't tell you how many "dead" or "broken" machines came back to life as soon as the "jams" were cleared and they were filled with enough balls.

Ok peeps, I took it all apart and cleaned ever part in the back and it looks pretty nice now. I put it all back togather and tried it out and it works great! I love playing this game.. Now I am going to build me a cabinet for it soon to where I can pull a drawer out that will have the balls and then reinsert them at the top in a box that will feed them to the hopper.

Here are some pics with it cleaned..
