Default E Bay Warning for bradfishesice seller

There is another not so good seller on Ebay.
It appears their game is to sell used pachinko machines, ship them late and blame the problems on the shipper or ignore the buyer altogether.
By looking at feedback they sell a bunch of nicke and dime products to get their feedback ratio up there and rip off the pachinko sales.

Anybody have any information on Metal Arms Pachinko like a place for manual or service information?

I've seen the auctions... but always passed because of the higher than expected shipping charge to where I live.
Looks like 6 negative feedback in the last month... all on pachinko. That's not good.

Ads say they have a six-month warranty. Not your expeience, huh?
    Care to elaborate?

Did he ship them direct, or have them dropshipped? Still have the label??

I think Arby had some dealings with him... maybe he'll chime in.

Anyway... what kind of problems are you having? Maybe someone here can help.

he probably has his games drop shipped, so he doesn't know much about them,

that's why you should buy from a established pachinko-pachislo seller.

it's better to pay a few bucks more and get repair support for the machine.

    Default Follow up

The guy didn't return emails or phone calls from the shipping label.
It came from Kerri Wilson from direct gaming in Utah
I do have the shipping label I've only had the machine for a week.
The specific problems, the light on the top is not working and I'm not sure how to access the light there are no obvious screws or anything.
Also on the area where you feed the balls there is an LED display that doesn't work, and the two buttons to the right of the LED do not work holding it for one second or 5 or 10 seconds no difference. Nothing comes on.
Plus it has significant dents, is dirty in the ball feed area and has many dents in on the machine.
All in all I had to ask paypal to settle dispute that he wouldnt ship or answer my enquires, he then shipped and never replied to phone messages or emails or e bay ask a question about the product area.

All in all the basics of the machine are working but it has some areas that do nothing. It was shipped with no documentation of any kind.

I have checked the wires with my multi tester and I go get current from the connectors but the LED and buttons dont work on the attached wires.

If you know where to find a manual for Metal Arms by Nishjin that would give me a place to start.
I would not buy from ebay again, I know ebay is always a crapshoot
you pay but never know what your going to get and you have little recourse with vendors like this.

It is very cool to find this forum to read about many things.

Also while I'm typing, where can I get a ball return for a good price?

Thank you for your help this is very nice.

dont be afraid to buy from ebay just when you buy purchase from reputable sellers, if you look around on the site you will see a lot of vendors that sell great products and the back those products up with customer service.

the two buttons and led will not work, they were for casino use only,

the light on the top may only work when you are in the jackpot or fever mode.

play it for awhile, when you get a jackpot you can check it out better.

    Brilliant thank you so much.
I did manage a work around for now for the ball lifter
I took a long flat piece of Tupperware cut a hole across about 4 cm by about 4 cm put duct tape around the cut out part and place it on top of an equally long but deeper container.
This catches all the balls from both sides.

Over all this is a pretty cool game although it does have wiring hanging off the back, something I am trying to mend with some twist ties and electrical tape.

This seller only lives about 25 miles away from me. I thought about sending him an e-mail to see if I could pick up a machine to save on shipping but I think I will not even bother if the machines are in bad condition.

    I'm curious, dapper...

What's his shipping cost to you, living that close?

To PA it's between $70 and $80. I'm guessing there's a pretty good "handling charge" in there.

Maybe if you could see the machines up-front, it might be worth your time.

Heck, if you can go over and check them out, then you have nothing to lose. Save on shipping and make sure it is in reasonable condition. Can't go too wrong!

Shipping from this vendor to me was calculated out at somewhere over $80.00, so I wouldn't have even considered bidding on one of his auctions.

What's driving me crazy is, isn't this the guy with five of those Pumpkin King pachinkos on $169 BIN? I've been meaning to buy one of them for ages...dang.

    Default The Utah Ebay seller

This guy is just not very good. He responded to my negative feedback by denying getting a message or shipping without secure packing.
It's no wonder he's getting so much negative feedback. It still seems strange to me that he sells all sorts of very low priced trinkets then sells a pachinko. The trinkets drive the feedback ratio up and the pachinkos drive them consistently downward.
