This auction just screwed the market for the rest of us who ever hope to get a PF. I want one badly, but I'll never pay more than $200 for one...maybe not even that much. Unless I come across one in a yard sale or a flea market, I fear that I'll never own one.

one thing is for sure deals will come up they always do even for the rarest and most valuable machines..


case in point spin lucks selling on average $500 +++ and people getting there hands on them for less then $100.

patience is the key.. besides who knows this one may relist in a week or so once there is a non payment..

at that price maybe we should get some old nishijin B's and add the solenoid layer ourselves. once we make molds for the king, queen, jack and T bird pieces, we could grab lots of tulips off old machines and construct our own... I could see doing it for maybe $200?

anyone have access to one of those 3D printers yet?

I do not think you know me well but ... I did not win that auction. Nor did Mopar. I would of like to had it but I have an old one that the playfield is in a mess that Mopar is going to work on. I hope one day to have this powerflash up and running. I do know the Powerflash part of mine works well. That is alot more than can be said for the one on Ebay.

I will have mopar take pictues before and after when he starts on it. We have been running around too much buying and not enough of Mopar doing the work.

Thanks Dwight! The guts look to be intact & in really great shape, just need to add a few wires for lights. The auction definitely got out of hand, won it with 1 second to go on a 1 click bid. The $$ I got for Julie went to good use, I guess...

It will have to go in place of the UFO hanemono machine along my wall. I will let you know when it is running. May have to sell off a few more machines to make room.

I wouldn't worry about that price affecting all PFs. It may raise the
price of future ones on eBay but out of the last 8 that I have seen for sale 6 of them have been on Craigslist. You just have to be willing to pay the shipping and maybe a little more to entice the seller to ship.

its a one of a kind machine, there are only 2 versions.. fun to play and lots of tulips..

its a vintage machine that i feel was ahead of its time... Y it went for this much?? cant answer that for sure..
