Interesting method of keeping the frame from tipping when you open the front, I hadn't thought of that before. Cheaper than building a cabinet anyway.

I think a lot of Pachinkos were supplied to the secondary market with those wire legs

and a few weeks back i did find a brand new unopened set for sale on ebay which i posted about

i agree they are a good way of supporting the vintages

Now if only I could find a way for the seller to ship that to me for an amazingly cheap price...

Hanabi (or should I write Ang?) - I actually meant the hooks at the top corners of the cabinet ...So far in my restorations I've gone with the wooden legs attached to the bottom of the frame, I don't really have to open the frame, since it's all still accessible, but whenever I did, I propped up the open corner. If you were going with a permanent, simple stand, those hooks look like a good safety device.

I bid before I checked the forum. I have now retracted the bid. It looks like there is no junction box, transformer etc.. It will take someone much more knowledgeable than me + a bunch of parts to get this one working. I have never worked on one of these before. Hope you win...

Nice, wish I could go for that, but even if I had my funds I stiill would hold off so you could get the win.

I wonder if someone would snipe the auction on the final day? By the way, I'm not a vintage person at all if you are wondering, (Modern all the way, I have no patience at all for any type of vintage) Just adding potenital spice to the mix thats all.

Can you fab up a junction box or do you need a spare from a parts machine?

I see it's up to $76 now. I'd like to state for the record that even though I'm interested in this type of machine, I'm not bidding on this one...or sniping at the last minute.
