    This is weird.
I've been looking for a vintage for a few years.
It needed to be inexpensive, and within decent driving distance to pick it up.
I got one last week, and now I am picking up 2 more this weekend.

On this first one, You will all say, that ain't vintage, and I thought so too.
    Here is the front:

Yep, Electric shooter knob. Must be from the 80's.
I've never seen this model before, the pockets and color really grabbed me.

Now the back on the other hand shows this ain't no modern machine, it has the same payout type mechanism as the 1977 Sankyo I picked up last week.
    Here's the back:

    Picture-120a.jpg

Looks like no payout motor. Just that circular ball release in the center.
The electronics look like they control the sound and there is a small LED in the center, plus of course the electric shooter knob.

The second one is real sad looking, big stains on the front with some nice rusty spots. But the back don't look too bad. This one looks to be older yet, I won't be able to date them until I get them home.

I was only gonna pick up the orange one, but he gave me a good deal on the 2 of them, SO I had to rescue them both. I have to finish cleaning up the first one before I get into these 2. They are quite dirty, looks mostly like they were sitting in a garage somewhere.
If anyone has a clue as to what these are, I'd be real appreciative. Cuz I really have no clue.

your first machine i would still considered a modern machine... kinda the first generation of modern

hte second machine is a true vintage its called a model "A".. and its a recycler machine.. my personal fav

too bad about the water staining but still a fun machine

I always thought the Kyoraku ones like that were from the early 80s?? I've always liked them because they all seem to have cool spaceships and planets on them!!

Do you have a way to take a video of it when its working?? I think it would be neat to see!!

It's gonna be awhile before I have that up n running and cleaned up. But I can try and figure something out.
I am curious about the date, I'm thinking since it still has the older gravity fed payout, it might be older than the early 80's. I'll know this weekend.

I was looking at those. It was in Akron right?
It would have been about an hour for me to get there.
Last time I looked at them the price was higher.

    Great find!

The orange one intrigued the hell out of me. I asked the guy for bigger pics, and once I saw the detail in the playfield, I knew it had to come home to me. Then we made a deal for the 2 of them and that made it a done deal.
The Girlfriend and I are heading south of Canton on Saturday, so we figured why not take a small side trip.
