Technokoshin Viper Won't play

Hi everyone,

I am new to the world of pachislo, so please bear with me. I have a Technokoshin Viper machine that I am having an issue with. A member of my family hit jackpot on it about 10 minutes after we got it, and it was stuck paying out, instead of filling the hopper repeatedly, my dad opened the machine and did something that put it in some sort of test mode where you can set the odds, and from there was unable to figure out how to reset the machine. He then turned the maching over to me to try fixing. At this point I have completely dissassembled and reassembled the entire machine, and it now lights up and flashes "medal in". When you insert tokens it accepts them and lights up the horizontal 1 medal line, then the 2nd line with the 2nd token, and 3rd, then adds to credit balance with each additional token. The issue is now, when you depress the joystick to start the reels, nothing happens, and at no point does the "start game" light illuminate. I did notice that when I put the machine back into test mode I get a light on the board with the joystick depressed, and all the buttons work except for one of the skill stop buttons, I have tested all the connections numerous times, and still can not get the machine to play. When I put the machine in test mode, the only way to get it out seems to be unplugging the main board from the power supply. I have found the user manual in another post, and have tried the instructions contained there to complete a reset on the machine, and nothing seems to get it out of test mode short of unplugging the main board from the PS. I would really appreciate any ideas on how to fix this issue, as I have run completely out of ideas, and don't want to damage the machine trying to get it working.

I can't say that i have heard of that model before, I have searched here and the Research Centre and can't find any info

Can you give us the Manufacturers name and / or better still post a couple of pics??

Hopefully some of our more technical members can help you with this problem, but in the mean time,
the basics are checking connections, checking for sticking buttons and doing the reset procedures

Techno-Koshin is the manufacturer, now Luster. Same people who made the Gundam machine.

That is exactly the machine I have, but I can only read english and can't understand anything on those links. Any idea where I can go for troubleshooting that machine?
