Good news! The cricket and Allwin have been located at a major UPS distribution center!!! Apparently the shipping label was ripped in half and my address was lost, as was most of the seller's information. The seller went to the center yesterday to pick it up and he will repackage and reship it next week.
This time he will send it himself and keep the receipt and tracking number!!!
With any luck I should have it by the end of the month! I am excited again.

this is why you need to write your addresses on the box, like with a sharpie, AND include your address inside. it seems excessive, but those labels in the plastic sleeves get caught and ripped on the machines and such.
my friend that works at fedex says they have a whole stack of undeliverable things, b/c the label got torn off, and there is no identifying info. inside or on the box.
p.s. my boxes from provincetown, MA are here in berkeley, and in perfect condition! can't wait to start some real vintage restoration today.

I still think the delivery guy didn't want to move that big box, so he tore the label.

Since I'm rather new to this forum I didnt realized you were going thru so much drama last month!
Hope everything works out soon and it arrives on your doorstep. I have to agree with some others that this looked pretty "flaky" from the start.
