I have bid on these before, but have never won. The price usually gets up in the $200-$400 range pretty quickly, which is well beyond my "cool things to have" budget!!

Perhaps someday when the lottery gods shine down on me, I will be able to afford an ALLWIN machine.

you're looking at least £350 GBP upwards over here for one that isn't even that nice...

I've frequently seen them go for £600 GBP

Ok, I'll admit that I had been following this thread and contemplating a way to purchase (afford) my first Allwin machine. I set up an esnipe on the item and have been silently watching it, hoping to snipe it for $400 or less. The auction wasn't supposed to end until Saturday, but when I checked it today I learned that it had ended - the seller pulled the item.

So a I did a little digging and searching, and low and behold - I found the Allwin had been relisted as a Buy It Now! (now I just need to figure out what the sellers have been smoking!)

someone asked why she cancelled and relisted. she said that someone wanted a buy it now, so she had to relist, then they were a crank...

does that seem legit?
