Kyoraku Scarlet Pachinko and Update

There is a Kyoraku Scarlet Pachinko on my local Craigs list for $50.00. The seller says he remembers it having electrical issues but doesn't remember exactly what. There are no spheres included and seems pretty vague about overall condition. Its a colorful machine and reminds me of one Hanabi would be talking about. Anyone familiar with this one?

That's a very cool looking vintage!!! I would take it as-is for $40 and hope that it works (or that I could revive it).

Can't find any info on that one here, although Kyoraku's are not as readily found as say the nishijins and sanyos are

If you are thinking of going for it, I would ask for some clear pics of the back too and close-ups of the cell, or better still if it's nearby, go look it over and then bargain with the Seller (take some pachinko balls with you, so you can test it, pockets etc)

$50 seems like a good price to me, but then I can't even dream about finding any pachi for that price here...

I got a few more pics of the machine and its looking better to me. There is a closeup of the door partially open and the cell looks good to me. Now I realize what was familiar about this cell...it has a tie-dye effect on the background. The back seems to be pretty normal also. Overall I think it appears to be a pretty clean machine. I'm thinking of making an offer so if I don't get it up and working shortly I will be happy just looking at it for a while.

but really, this looks a lot like the kyoraku I sold to owennewton, and you can get it to jackpot without electricity. the AC is just for lights, sounds (annoying to me), the shooter, and maybe to open/close the center mechanism.

This one appears to be a little more complicated than that, looks to be digital - I see a pocket labeled 'start', there's a bonus door, at least the center has some type of display - dot matrix, 7 seg LED. The 4 dots below the center display are probably the spin stock lights.

hey compirate, you may be right. I thought that seeing the jackpot mechanism there meant it still manually released the jackpots. can't quite tell through the plastic layers.

you might not get fever rounds though.
