A noob... his first sale? Zero feedback?

The auction went full term. He sold it.
Auctions go that way sometimes. If he had a reserve, he should have put in on when he listed it.

    It's yours.

Just watch the "handling" charge now, though.

    Tank-

You won the auction fair and square. If the price isn't what the seller expected, he should've had a reserve. If you truly want the product (which I guess you do because you bid on it), you should push it. They say when you bid on Ebay that it is a binding contract. So the way I see it, he should honor his auction...But that's just my 2 cents! Keep us posted on what happens.

    look at his handle nycpd.

a member 4 1/2 years never bought or sold anything, he doesn't know how auctions work.

he won't ship for that price and if you give a negative, he may slap one back at you.

you should bid on items from good vendors with a lot of good feedback, like jarcagan, 7 mile slots, pp demos777 pashiclot777 and slotusa.

they all honor the bid and warrenty on every machine.

it's not a good idea to by from questionable or brand new sellers.

pay a few bucks more and be happy

thats what i usually do. but my other auction id started ot 4 years ago with 0 points and now its in the thousands, so you try to give everybody a break now and again. plus like most people i get a little greedy now and again.by the way the tanks in my avatar are for sale. need room for more of these black boxes.

If you give him a negative, he can just come back on ebay with a new ID. He has nothing to lose to hit you with a negative feedback after you do it to him. He had no feedback anyhow and anything you say about him means nothing when he comes back.

I'd push him real hard, but rather than take him to the mat, I'd drop it in the end if he won't send it to you... Ya win some and ya lose some.

You haven't spent any money here... just lost a possible good deal or lost a possible disaster, too if he sends you a POS!

I'd push ebay on getting rid of this guy but otherwise, I'd let it go. You have nothing to gain at this point. A neg on him would mean nothing and he'd just open a new ebay id.

You have learned from this as well as everyone you've shared it with here. That at the very least is valuable. If the seller has nothing to lose in the sale, by not coming through on his end, good idea to stay away from that seller.

Print this auction out for future reference and watch the auctions. People have styles and you should be able to recognize this guys style if he opens a new account. When this happens, let ebay know who it is. They'll be able to trace IP's and zap the guy again.
