Default Doronjo / Cat Woman Machine Questions...

    Hey all,

I have done the 1 through 6 change on the front LCD of the machine to change the odds, but that didn't seem to do much.

However, near the volume control on the inside, I saw another adjustment knob numbered 1-9 that had to be turned with a small screwdriver. That seems to let the machine win MUUUUCH more frequently. Is that the reason for that knob? The picture is below:

    Also,

In the pic below, there is a 2 position sliding switch (to the left of the round, white toggle switch). What exactly is that for?

I also noticed that there was a red/white twisted wire set that was cut from one of the harnesses - it's just hanging there. Is that a parlor mod or something? If it's not common practice, I can take a pic.

Ok, one more thing. Has anyone ever set this machine so that every win is paid out, and there are no credits kept from a win? I have tried different ways with no luck...

    Thanks in advance,

    Matt!

The 1-9 switch is the volume control normally 1 or 2 is load enough. Setting the odds from 1 -6 is for winning. 6 getting more wins but less action. 1 lots of active less wins. I normally have it on 4 or 5. It may take some time before you hit the big bonus. I don't remember if this machine is cash/credit mode. to find out press the cash out button & hold it for a couple of seconds, if the credit LED going out then it is now in cash mode. you must put in 3 tokens each time & winning will pay out.
As for the wire. take a picture of it close up & regular so we can see where it is.

    FTK,

The volume control is actually a knob. You can see it in the picture. The control I was talking about is BELOW that one - and does not control volume - it must do something else...

    Thanks,

    Matt!

    Ok,

Here's a pic. The wire is next to the harness that it is coming out of. I wonder...

    Thanks.

The red/white twisted wire goes into the far end of the white connector. If you follow them back, It should go to the hopper overflow sensors. Really not needed, so I wouldn't worry about them.

Some machines have more than 1 vol control.
The only way to set the odds is by the button/lever combo. (No dial... ever)
I have the same machine (with the same dials) & I have never moved that lower dial.
I have to assume it's another volume control, perhaps for the lower or bass speaker.

Try taking a spin while it's set to 1 then crank it up to 9 & take another spin,
just to check if the volume changes at all.

    TT,

Thanks for the response as well... I thought about that possibly controlling subwoofer volume, but haven't tested it yet. I'll definitely do that tonight and report back.

Did you ever figure out what that black, 2 position switch was? Also, any other secrets of this machine that you could share?

Also, one of the things that sold me on this machine (over a Sinbad Adventure Machine for the same price) was the deep bass that it produces - especially when you insert coins!)

    Thanks,

    Matt!

The little black switch is probably a "require reset after bonus" switch...If thats what it is and you turn it on, you will need to reset the machine after a bonus to keep playing!!

    Tiki,

I played around with the second dial, and it did not affect the bass or the volume... Back to square one...

    Any thoughts?

You know I never saw that control on mine. Let me know what it does.

    Default frustrated...

    Hey guys,

Ok, over the past week or so, I RARELY win anything besides a free spin - and when I do win, the most I have ever won is 12 tokens. I will seem to get into some bonus/fever modes, but I still never win anything.

In addition, I can't get it to payout on its own - I would like it to pay out with every win.

I have tried with all levels 1 through 6 and I get the same results...

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks,

    Matt!

put in 50 tokens and add 3 each spin to get a payout when you win.

bonus rounds usually are 1-8 round spins with a payput each time or 3---8 round spins.

These machines (most) are notorious for having dry spells and then going crazy with winning... maybe you are caught somewhere in between. In the past, members have discussed trying the different settings and I believe that the changes were not always in the amount of payouts, but also in the little secrets that the machine will give up. ie. different characters or sequences showing up.

I think if you are trying to ascertain the differences, you may need more time than a week to go through all the settings.

As Lucky said, if you keep 50 coins banked at all times, any and all winnings will drop into the tray.

    Have fun!!!

12 is the max payout on this machine for a single spin. When you're in a bonus round, you'll get a 12 coin payout for every match you make (see the marquee at top). The total "get" is several hundred coins, but you'll have to play all the way through the bonus round to achieve this.

As previously mentioned, you only get a payout when your credit exceeds 50, so keep pumping those tokens!

    Hey all,

Ok, played for a few more hours today (on level 6) and had all kinds of crazy bonus screens play though... however, I didn't win a singe token during any of it!

Oh well, i'll keep at it...

    Odd,
    Matt!

Something doesn't sound right, once you have more than 50 credits you should be getting payouts...If you're getting Big Bonus', it should be paying out a few hundred tokens!!

    MrGneiss,

Ok, perhaps (hopefully) I am explaining it wrong.

I have never gotten 3 7's, or 3 of the black logos that indicate a bonus (see picture below):

but I do randomly get these loud, action video sequences that play. Maybe that is some other mode and not a bonus mode since I never got the proper matches to get a bonus.

Also, I am keeping the credits at 50, and anytime i win, it does actually pay out, so that is good.

So, do you think that these are just little 'fever' modes and not actually bonus sequences, since I never really got the right match in the first place?

    Thanks

    Matt!
