anyone here been to the makers faire? I missed it this year, but hope to go next year. it's in san mateo, south of san francisco.

What is the Makers fair?

the makers faire is a gathering on a weekend in May, sponsored by the publishers of the Make magazine. all kinds of DIY stuff and repurposing of things. many times the projects are based around the arduini chip that is programmable from your PC and can take inputs from sensors and control outputs. some solar powered projects, some electronics hacks...
