Default New member with Daiichi New Vanguard pachinko

Hi all, I just had the luck of picking up a vintage Daiichi New Vanguard pachinko machine. I'm so stoked because I had a pachinko machine when I was a kid in the early 1970's. I'm not so stoked to see that the wiring has been cut, so I'm going to have to figure that out. Which leads me to my question; are there any schematics available for these machines? I REALLY want to get this wonderful thing up and running again. Any help is gratefully appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Rich

    welcome to pachitalk!!

you could post a new thread with your machine's pix, front and back, and I'm sure you will get a lot of help.

as a starter, I have a daiichi, too, and posted this you tube vid, if you're interested

this was my first machine, bought back in the 70's

the wiring is all basically the same. 2 circuits. one to the low ball indicator and one to the jackpot. you can run new wires if the stock ones are missing.

I rewired a sanyo comet II. all you have to do is find the switches and clean them, then run the wires back to the bulbs.

most of us used 9 volt batteries to power. the parlors used 10 vac.

have fun. this site is a great resource with a lot of friendly, helpful people.

also, check out how a vintage machine works by rusty at the beginning of the vintage forum. he goes through the ball flow and later down the thread makes some comments about the electrical, too.
