Popeye Pachinko near me, I am hoping to pick it up...price?

Hey all,

I found someone within a 1/2 hour drive who has a like-condition Popeye Pachinko PLUS a custom cabinet.

I will post pics below, but from my research, it seems to be the CR Popeye HN by Sammy - which, from what I read, is loud, and obnoxious...perfect!

The owner just emailed me with the following:

"
The machine is in perfect mechanical and cosmetic condition.

I don’t have the manual but you could easily find it online.

I got it from Texas auctions online. (Pachinko store)"

The guys wanted $200 - I would like to try to get it for $125. Does that seem reasonable?

It does have a cabinet so I'd say try for the $125 but be willing to go to $150 and it will still be a good deal. Good luck.

I got one in the U.K. for 130 GBP two weeks later one went on ebay for 51 GBP.
Thats life.
Mine also came in a custom made cab, That i was going to give away on pachi talk as i always make my own.
But it was Sh** not very good, the guy had glued the cab to the frame and i had to rip it off.
Yours looks much nicer GO FOR IT!
I wouldent say it was loud and obnoxious, But i've been with my wife for 32 years so what would i know

Well, he wouldn't go lower than $180... I'll wait for now. If I look hard enough, I can find 3 machines for that price.

I just want a starter. Time to hit the markets!

That Popeye is well worth the price for $180.
You are not going to find 3 modern LCD pachinkos for $180.
Those days are gone.
Maybe single-shot vintage machines.
Take a look at Rita's website or Slot-Pachinko and see what they are going for -

Ray, I know what you're saying, but i can't really spend $180 now. I would be perfectly happy with an older modern... I just talked to my friend who got the MeTAL ARMY modern for $30, they said all of the moderns that the market had were $30-$35. I am going to visit that place this weekend.Just looking for something to cure my current craving.Matt!

Ok, I'll grab pics if/when I go. If my friend goes back, i'll have them take pics as well.

The machine that they picked up a few months back was the Metal Army machine, with LCD display, and 500 balls. The pic is below.

There was nothing wrong with the machine, and it wasn't even dirty. They said that they other machines were like this as well - so i would assume more moderns...
