    Default Golgo13 hopper not working

I have a pachislo Golgo13 skill stop machine. Everything works fine except for the hopper. I took it apart, cleaned it and jumped the motor and it works fine with coins shooting out but it's dead inside the machine.
I checked for broken wires and bad connections, all seem good. There is a little control box attached to the hopper, It looks good. The whole things plugs into the power supply.
Does anyone know where the hopper board is or what I should check next?

it could be a poor connection somewhere or a blown fuse, if its set for credit you won't get any tokens coming out until your credits had passed 50.

you could test it if you have a hopper dump button on the power supply or the front of the door

Hopper dump button doesn't do anything. Where would the fuse be for the hopper? Where is the hopper board on these things? Is there some kind of test light that should be on?

One of mine was acting up like this the other day. It was fixed by doing a hard reset. Hopefully yours is a simple fix, too, and you're able to get it working.

After doing a hard reset, keep it loaded at 50 credits until you hit a payout combination, and see if that fixed it. Good luck!

How do you do a hard reset? I have reset it many times but never got 50 credits before.

I'm sure you've done it already. (turn the machine off, turn the reset key to the right, turn the machine on, push down on the spin knob, turn the key to the left)

You'll have to put 53 tokens in the machine to get your credits up to 50 (the first 3 don't count). Put 3 tokens in after every spin, then you should get payouts when you match symbols.

This machine doesn't have a key type reset. The power supply has 2 on/off switches, a white reset button and a little black slider switch. One on/off is for the power the other one is the hopper empty.
The hopper should come on with the hopper empty switch on right? It doesn't do anything.

Pics would be helpful, as a quick search of the research centre showed 2 Golgo 13 models,

    2001 and 2006 (both Heiwa)

The reset procedure could be different on each

Looking at your power supply, the reset key switch was replaced by that green rocker switch. With it on like that, everytime you power up, you're in reset mode. Next time you turn the power on, push down on the spin lever, turn the green switch off, and see if it works.

I tried doing that and it still doesn't work and a number 4 pops up on the screen.
What is that little black switch? It toggles up and down. I'm guessing it's to set the odds or something.

The little black switch just looks like a 'reset after bonus' switch to me!? If it is, I don't think it would be causing any of the problems..but you could always switch it and see if anything happens after another reset..

Worth a try, you never know!!

show me some pictures of the hopper its self all sides and bottom .follow the harness back it most likely goes to the power supply if so turn off the machine and unplug it for safety reasons then open the power supply up some have fuses hard wired inside . check and see if any are blown .

The hopper wires go into the power supply. I took the power supply apart and didn't see any fuses. There is just one main fuse that you can change and it was good.
I flipped the black switch down and pushed the spin lever down while turning off the green switch and it works normal but the hopper still doesn't come on. I think it's either the main board or the little controller board in the hopper. I put a voltmeter to the hopper plug in and it has voltage but not sure what volts are supposed to be on what wire.

Have you tried doing a soft reset, turning the front door key to the left,
or is the overflow token sensor still plug in to the power supply?
Both can cause hopper issues. There worth a shot

The two black toggle switches on the power supply are explained by a very help post compliments of member Chrisdice

    Good luck!!

Two switches on the power supply:
    - One requires a soft reset at the end of a bonus.
    - The other pays out all tokens at the end of a bonus.

For these switches in most cases off is in the down or right position. The for off and on are:

    無 = off

    有 = on

I did a soft reset and still doesn't work. I didn't see a token overflow sensor. Where is it located?

To the right of the hopper in the back bottom of the cabinet you can see two wires connected to medal rods. These are sensors to tell parlor employees when the overflow token bin was full. (you do not show a bin in your photo's and may not have one) Follow those wire's back to you power supply and disconnect the terminal if still attached.
    Then try a reset

    2nd
I tried doing that and it still doesn't work and a number 4 pops up on the screen.
If you could get back to this point where you see the odds level 4. Try changing the odds to something else, depress the spin knob and toggle off you reset switch. (keep machine powered on)

Have you gotten a E-1,2,3,7,8 or HE or HJ error's.

If I understood your post the machine accepts token and reels spin. It just doesn't pay out? But you were able to jump the hopper!

Have you tried putting in a bunch of tokens and forcing the machine to try to pay out by hitting the dispense coins button. Does the machine give you a error coed then?
Do you have access to a 2nd hopper to try. Maybe a member with a working hopper which fits is close by to where you are?
If it's a Hopper board issue I bet one could be located, but I would defer to others for diagnosing that problem.
