I am looking for a good machine to mod. That is why I keep asking what others are using, so I can get a decent handle on what others use as a base.

very poorly printed on paper custom by the look of it.
One must use a better printer and better paper to make it look not washed out.

The Automatic is not really a bad machine to mod. the more generic the theme the better. We had one in the shop a month ago and a lady came in and said if it had a football theme she would have bought it, so we told her it could for an extra coupla bucks and the next weekend when she came to pick it up she was really excited about it. So the Automatic is a nice generic to play with if you don't want to do the reels.

I modified an Outlaw once and did it twice. The first time was a black background and it too looked washed out so I redid it with orange or white (can't remember now). And it looked much better.

I did the kinko's laminated signage thing. The image is printed on plastic with a white backing so that it should look good backlit. It only costs about $15.

Drugdoc does some amazing Kiss machines. You cant go wrong with his. He gets good price out of them and deserves every penny too!

Those are nice. Like I hinted at, I am looking to do a Kiss one and Elvis one for family members myself. Thanks for the Kinko tip. I was going to buy the printer at costco mentioned in another topic, and go that route. Now, I have to determine if I want to put out the 400 bucks for the printer or take the image and let them do it.

The Kiss machine done by doc above is a Zet. Aren't those machines made by zet pricey?

The one above is a Net machine, they arent too bad if you order them in 6 packs from Milt at Stealth. Thats where he gets em at!
