the good Lt is half way threw his road trip.. after dinner we unloaded his booty.. the Pachinko "wanted" is staying hear with me

the two Pachislo are heading up north with him.. with a stop to add Monopoly to the van.. (hes wants to play them and decide what one he likes)

after playing Wanted for 30 to 40 min i know it will have to have some volume controls added.. there is a 3 position volume control but at its lowest setting its still a bit load for long term play ..

im perty sure i have the volume control figured out..

but after helping the good LT with his Indy machine i think im gona need one of thouse slick Dongles... but i wonder if my machine is able to use one?? it works and plays as is and there is no fake dongal or what ever u call the ones machines come with.. i know i have head of machines that have been hard rewired so no dongal is needed..

how do i know if i can use one of Dave's dongle??

a few picks for ya.. the close up of the back lower left side is where a dongal might go?? it would plug from the bottom up..

as stated before wanted is not a total left sided Machine there is a small shaft down the right side of the play field.. it dumps most balls to the middle of the play field but there is access to the right pockets on rare occasion

If it's got a dongle connector and the buttons/display on the front, an enhanced dongle should work. Only 'cash only' frames don't have them.

Also, it seems most that work without one or have been modified to work without one still seem to work with a super awesome wonder dongle..but you still might want to check with dave first!!

You should be ok with a Card Reader Emulator Dongle with that machine. The connector's there to plug it in and it's got the buttons on the shooter tray.

The only question mark is that it's been modified not to need a card reader bypass dongle. Usually this is no problem and the emulator dongle still works fine, but some modified machines have a compatibility problem with any type of external dongle and it stops the shooter handle from working. I've only heard of this happening with a small number of modified Kyoraku machines, but I'm not ruling out it being a potential issue on other makes of machines.

The good news is that this machine uses opto-isolators for the card reader interface, so it's very likely that the modification will have no effect on dongle operation at all. Worst case scenario is that you are going to need to remove the modification. If there does turn out to be a problem then send me photos of both sides of the circuit board near the card reader interface and I'll can tell you where to cut/unsolder.


It's also worth checking that you've got enough clearance to fit the dongle without the transformer getting in the way. You need 2" of space under the connector for the dongle. If there's not enough room, then either the transformer can be moved, or I can supply a short extension lead to allow the dongle to be positioned elsewhere.

i have 2.5 inches from the plug face to the top or the trasnsformer so it sounds like im good

got a question

was playing a few balls and within 5 min

it was a suprize to me how long the fever lasted seemed like at least 5 min

ended up empting every ball out of the machine i would guess 2 to 2500 balls

really loud (glad i bought volume controls allready)

my question is

on the left side there is one cacti with a branch that is to the right.. is there a light behind that branch.. there is a pas threw jackpot with in tha branch but there appers to be enough room for a bulb at the end of the branch..

the reason is it appers every light is working.. light in places i would have noth thought to put lights... but that branch sems to be dark.. hate to start tearing into it if teres no reason.. that light would be right behind the case that holds the reels.. so i can't quiet see it.

any one know for sure??

maybe it only would light on a particular fever, but, not for every fever.

i've had a few where I thought that I had a light out on the cell, but found out I just didn't hit the correct combination to light them.

during the fever round the thing was all lit up.. looked like a christmas tree on crack..

i was amazed.. even the speaker grills glow

like is said lights everwhere but that one spot

You could try taking the screws out from the front and see if it will pull out far enough to tell from the back of the cactus. Yes, if there's a light behind there, it's supposed to light during any fever.
