    Default Moving a pachislot

Does anyone ever take their machines elsewhere for small amounts of time? I would like to take one to my folks house (about a thirty minute drive) on some family get together occasions. However, I am thinking it is not a good idea to be moving these things around much.

Any advice (besides telling folks to get their own machines!)?

it's best to bring lots of extra tokens for the long ride, a polishing cloth in case it has an accident, two 12 volt batterys wired in series so you can bypass the transformer and keep it warm and make sure, for million god's sake, make sure it has carry handles.

Gee, and to think on another thread here I was questioning why anyone would care if the machine had carry handles on it!!!

There are a number of people that I've seen that take Pachislos with them in their RVs when they go out to the sand dunes. From what I've heard, it's not uncommon to get a really good offer on the machines out there.

I think any time you can take a Pachislo with you and expose people to it, you have a good chance of selling it for a good price.

My plan is to buy one of each, and sell the ones that aren't my favorites. :-) :-)

Well think about this, they come over on barges fromt eh far east, whcih takes several weeks at a time. Then they are taken by rail car, from ports to inner citties within the states. After that they are taken by semis to the destination. I drive 150 miles with mine when I pick them up and have yet to have a problem!

I have a vacation house up in the Poconos. We usually go up every other weekend, so I have been lugging my Azteca Legend back and forth. Now that I own 5 Pachislos, I will probably assign one as the "Vacation House Pachislo." Though I'm not sure which one...Whichever it is will be lonely when we aren't there to play with it.

I will just have to give extra TLC when we are there. Lugging it back and forth is a hassle...even with the handles.

Just buy a Spin Luck for each home! You'll be happier this way.

Well if he buys a SL for the vacation home, he should buy a DD to compliment it when hes not there.

I agree, Spin Lucks have huge ego's and need to be constantly complimented.

With all these machines I need to buy...I might have to sell the vacation house to support my habit.

Hey $300 a week at 18 isn't bad. When I was 18 (and that was 18 years ago), I had to bust my butt unloading trucks for $4.25 an hour....I can't beleive I just said that...Oh my God...I've turned into my father!
