Original Sea Story Pachinko - info needed

Hi !

I am curently looking for info for the original first Sea Story Pachinko as I have been offered this machine.

I can only find info for New Sea Story and Super Sea Story on the Net.

Does somebody here own the original Sea Story ?
Are the fish also animated on the LCD on this one ?

And most important:
Compared to the other "Sea Stories" - is it still worthwhile buying/playing this one ?

I would be very glad if you could help me with this ...

I have the original Sea Story for the Japanese PS2

There are a lot of 'Sea Story' machines, the original has a round window on the LCD so it looks like a port hole.

Then you didn't pay enough attention last time I addressed the class. ^^

Sea Story is the hardcore gamblers' pachi. Period. No reach ever goes past the 30 second mark, you spin, you lose, you spin again, repeat until win or out of money.

Compare that to Evangelion, Star Wars, etc. A single reach with those can last up to three minutes! Most don't, of course... but I'd consider 30 seconds the average (not the max!) for most modern pachis nowadays.

Personally, I find the Sea Story series to be extremely boring when compared to the myriad of other pachi options out there, but I realize that the bikini clad girls (and speedo guy) help move it a little more. Also, as mentioned above, if you gamble on pachi, you play Sea Story.

My mistake was that I've seen Marine-chan (blonde swimming girl in Sea Story series) in the GinGira Paradise games, where she made her first appearence. Although at the bottom of this page, they are included in the Sea Story series.
