    Smile Vintage Hokoku

Here's an interesting vintage pachinko for sale on ebay

it's a Hokoku (seller has mistyped) and I don't think they are that common??

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Japanese...3%3A1|294%3A50

I think one of our members (slothappy mike??) has one or had one from this manufacturer??

Anyway the start price is a very reasonable $49-99

I'm guessing they don't have many vintages over there,

    probably only in private collections??

and this seems to be an uncommon manufacturer too??

I'm guessing just like today..they were just seen as trash over there once they were out of the parlors...

So in the 70s when Pachinko Palace was having thousands shipped over here, in japan very few were saved..

So now 30-40 years later we still have ours and they only have a few!!

anyone here bidding on this? If someone else really wants it, I don't want to run the price up.

I looked at the back and thought, "there's a mechanism I don't have yet"... yeah, first it was "oh, that's a nice cell", or "oh, I don't have a single shot yet", or "I need a nishijin C to go with A and B", or "it's my birthday 2 months ago", or, "I don't have a powerflash yet", etc...

maybe we could start a new thread

what's your last rationalization for buying a pachi?

(don't think the wives will buy it, though )
