Default nishijin A with birds, was ebay "for parts"

so I bought this one b/c it was only $25 a couple months ago, and I finally opened it today.

it was listed as "for parts, not working"

well, it's ALL there, including the ash tray that I was looking for, AND, some of you might remember that I struggled to decide which single shot to give my mother-in-law... well, this is the one I gave her, so now I have a replacement.

check out the "parts" that came with it... no wonder he thought something was missing from the machine.

also, the red/brown zip lock contains the balls that came with it. (I'll be using johnnynormal's vibratory cleaner thingy soon)

and, I noticed a different tulip mechanism on this oldie... first ball makes the right tulip leaf open, 2nd ball closes right and opens left, 3rd ball closes both. at first I thought it was broken, but this is how it works. I had not seen a tulip that worked like this. have you, compirate?

after scrubbing the cell for an hour, the machine has cleaned up nicely and works perfectly.

I am setting up the "wall of pachinko" in my garage in salinas, then I can display all 10 or so of my vintages at once! woo whoo!

I've got at least one with that tulip style, I guess that's why it's two different colors (looks like they made it from the leftover parts, kinda the platypus of pachis )

yeah. I thought they ran out of same colored parts, too.

now I'm curious and I'll have to take it apart to see how it works... another day.

My 'A' model has that bi-colored tulip at the top. Seems like all the two colored ones have that dual action.

    Hey Mudfud!
You've got to come by my place and pick up the ashtray and ball tray, and whatever else I forgot to bring along.

Thanks again for the BBQ, I never knew that how good portabello mushrooms were.
I think I'm going to have to start eating healthy!
