Default Volume controls for "Marvel Heroes"

    Hey all,

I received my new "Marvel Heroes" pachinko machine, and it looks great! (Didn't like the ultra-short power cord...eesh) I turn it on, and everything looks great, but the volume is screaming (Which I expected), so I turned it off, as I live in a condo and want to stay in good graces with my neighbors. I have already ordered my volume controls, and being I installed a set on my "Star Wars" unit, was pretty confident...until I saw the bottom of the machine. I know how to fix the two top speakers, but I don't know how to fix the two bottom ones. Thank goodness for everyone here at Pachitalk, as there is a manual for the "Star Trek" unit in the research area which is exactly like the "Marvel Heroes", but in those notes, there's nothing that refers to the two bottom speakers.

Now, if you made it this far (which I deeply appreciate) here are my questions...

    a) I was only able to turn on the unit for a very brief time due to the volume. Are the two bottom speakers accessable? If so, how?

    b) What can I do to alter them to a lower volume?

    Any advice/suggestions..etc..appreciated. Thanks!!!

I don't have this pachinko, but, if you just open the glass door, there should be a latch near the bottom of the cell to release the bottom part of the door.

you may be able to get to the bottom speaker wires there

The lower speakers are actually in the very lowest part of the frame. If the hinged part of the frame is removed, the speaker part stays with the wooden frame. If you look on the lower right in the back, there should be some wires running to them with a plug. I suppose a separate volume control could go down there.

If you are thinking of taking the bottom plate off, the speakers are usually glued on, and you ill mess the cardboard (or rubber) seal up if you aren't careful.

I'd like to avoid removing the bottom speakers if at all possible. I do see that the front plate has four screws that LOOK like they are either holding the front plate on, or the actual unit itself. I'm not going to attack the issue until this weekend, but I'm looking for all the info I can get. If anyone has had experience with these types of units, I'm ready to listen. It looks soooo nice, but if I have to unplug the bottom ones just to play it, i'll do it. (Would be a shame tho, as it sounds really good...LOUD...but good.

I apologize...there's an excellent string for this issue here: Bottom Speakers On Laluz Frame.
