How to Post Pictures!!


this is one thing that seems to take a bit to learn

took me a bit.. with some help from others


move to the bottom of the thread your wanting to post in

at the bottom there is a quick reply box. just at the bottom right side of that quick reply box is a button labeled "Go Advanced" click on the Go Advanced button..

u will change to another screen that looks similar but is slightly different.. with advanced options

across the top are buttons

left to right on the top row are
Remove text formating
a button to change the font of your typing
a button to change the size of your text
a button to change the color of your text
a button to add a smilie
and the button to add pictures looks like a paper clip
then a undo
and a redo button

if u click on the paperclip button it will take u to a browse screen.. from this screen u can click on one of the browse buttons to search your own personal computer to find a picture for your post.. click on your picture and it will capture that picture for your post.. it will then take time for that picture to upload to the server.. click on the close window button when upload is finished.. U will now be back at the Go Advanced screen.. click again on the paper clip and your pictures will be there to insert in to your post..

u can now click on the submit reply button and your done..

just a note that new members will have there post checked before it will be posted by an administrator before it will be visible

It seems that there are more than one way to post images. Is one way preferred over another? Quite frankly I prefer to see the entire image(s) posted with the text, but most posts I see have the list of clickable thumbnails. While this method drastically shortens the screen size of the post they are a bit more challenging to annotate, etc.

well certainly the attached images are preferred..

the reason being is the Images dont disappear and make posts useless when someone decides they should clean out their photobucket account etc.
and a thread of the most usefull images becomes useless because the how to images simply dont exist anymore..
