Power Flash on Sacramento Craigslist vintage pachinko

Saw this Pachinko Pinball Machine and new some of you would be interested. Looks to be in very good shape and has some sort of mechanical device that attaches to it according to the description. He may be talking about the transformer or maybe even a ball lifter.

I have told myself that a powerflash is the only machine that I will by from this point forward. Unfortunately, I have no confidence that a Powerflash will ever come along for me at a decent price. I can always hope, but it seems unlikely.

This comes at the same time that I came across a single-shot on CL for $45. Nope. Not gonna' do it.

Someone needs to snag this one! If they are willing to barter.. even better! Get rid of junk and get a PowerFlash for $40!

Someone needs to get this just so we can know what the "separate semi automatic motor which can be externally attached" is...Super great deal if it is a ball lifter!! And you could get it all for some dishes and a chair!!

The powerfash that I restored for me was my dads machine. It was really supposed to go to my niece, but I snuck in and stole it right out from under her!
I feel a little bad, but it was one step away from the dumps when I found it, but I still feel a little guilty. Just a little guilty... not much though! LOL!
I'll get over it. I'm shallow like that!

I've got a secret...

Yes, I picked up the machine for my niece. Its got the chinaman theme in the middle. Overall, the parts are clean, but the playfield has some of that nasty black soot on it when you play with greasy balls... (Stop laughing, this is a G-Rated Website!)

It needs some work on the electrical, and has the standard ball jams to deal with.

All in all, my niece will be very happy with it... After I am done with it. LOL!

I'll post pictures of the clean up soon. Cant wait to start!

P.S. The "MOTOR" she referred to was actually the transformer, not a ball lifter.

Compirate, here's a pic of mine. The little chinaman pivots either left or right depending on where the ball hits.Found another one of these PF's just the other day on Craigslist and is on it's way to the house. Still want one with the "Thunderbird" center like Johnnynormal and Mudfud have however. Interesting how these are hard to find then two (that I know of) show up for sale in a week.

Mopar: I did not even attempt to haggle with her. $100 for a PF is a fair deal.

Every part of the machine, except the playfield is in great condition.
The playfield has a noticeable amount of dirt, but it is a Powerflash...
If you have to deal with a little dirt, It only adds character!

After looking closely, the machine has the typical problems, but nothing a pachi-talk veteran cant handle.
Someone didnt let a little thing like a ball jam get in their way of a good time. When I opened the middle (solenoid) section of the game up, hundreds... YES, REALLY! HUNDREDS of balls went all over the garage floor. You can see whats left in the machine, and there is still a huge amount stuck!

If anyone has any advice on how to clean the dirt off the playfield, please let me know. I have a couple of sacrificial machines with a similar problem, so I will try a couple options on them and post my results.

That 20VA transformer is about 0.83 amps, enough to run that machine?

I use xtra long q-tips with the wood sticks. I get em from work but are prolly available at drug stores. Then I pour a little bit of windex or 409 or something similar and go to work. Takes alot of q-tips but they're great for tight places.
