that price is just the machines, do you have to refurbish them to our 120v ? what about shipping cost ? import duty ? trucking ? storage ? in a 20ty footer there is 200+ machines, in a 40ty footer is 440+ machines.

According to the email they sent me, shipping to a container yard in Dallas is $3100 for a 20ft container. And another $300 if I want it delivered to my door. I am thinking about placing an order but I want to know if anyone has dealt with them before.

I think you will need to check with the big dealers/distributors about that and it is unlikely that they will admit and suggest who they use.

A better idea is to ask them for references here in the United States and how they can prove to you that you will actually get that container. I am sure they are used to being asked. If they can't come up with US references then I would run and hide as fast as I could with my money if I were you.

BTW the breakdown of shipping to your door @ $3400.00 puts it at roughly 17.00 per machine. Not bad if that is all you have to add to your cost of the machines. Seems like they were averaging 60.00 awhile back so add in 17 and your at lucky 77.00 !!

Let us know how this goes for you.

What Lew is say in lay terms, cover you asz and know what is going on. because once they got your money, how do you get it back if they are not honest ? I would have run on them a credit check, if it can be done on a off shore company.

Usually, on international business transactions, when the 2 people don't know each other, payment is made with an irrevocable letter of credit. This is issued by your bank and is a promise to pay once the goods arrive and are as described. Unless you have a line of credit with your bank, you generally have to pay your bank up front. They then sit on that money until the goods arrive and then issue payment to the seller.

yes there are 2 payment methods that they accept Letter of Credit, or Telegraphic Transfer. 50% is required and the other 50% is expected as soon as they ship the order. The price before shipping is $48 per machine and there are 3 lists to choose the machines from. A 100v list, a 24v list and a premium list ( I'm not sure if these are 100v or 24v or a mix of both). All machines come with both keys, and 500 tokens per machine. I have sent them an email requesting references, hopefully they will get back to me soon. I'm am posting the list they sent to get an idea if any of these machines are any good. I'm fairly new to Pachislos, so I'm not sure which machines are better than others.

Perhaps a silly question... but if you are new to this and don't know much about these machines, why on earth would you be buying a container of them at any price? :-?

You may want to start off a tad bit smaller and order a wholesale lot from some of the vendors (here in the USA). You can see how it goes, become more familiar with these puppies. If things go good then get a container full. Just my 2 cents.

good question slotter, with a really simple answer. I bought my first 3 Pachislos not too long ago at a local auction for $30 each. I kept one (the New Trad, which I'm not sure if that was the best choice but it looks good in my gameroom) I sold the other 2. One for $150 and the other for $200. A gundum and an azteca(not sure if it was legend or not, it had the lcd screen on it.) To make a long story short I made alot of profit off my auction purchase and decided to research the net for larger quantities to resell.

But I'm not only in it for the money, In the short time I've had my machine I have become seriously addicted. And I'm pretty sure I have a lower end machine. I want ( or should I say "need" ) MORE!!!

Thanks for the reply! Hey, if you can have fun and make some $$$ at the same time, things don't get much better than that!

And, I sure know what you mean about the "MORE" comment!

    Good luck!!!

Okay, if I've gotta pick a candidate that truly NEEDS the 12 step program...Stooge would be #1 on my list. Glad to know someone ELSE is above me! :smt046
