Default Where to buy a machine in Osaka?

Hey all, I'm currently in Osaka for the next two days and I was wondering if any of you know of a place where I could get a used pachinko machine. I figured since I'm here I could save on the shipping if I threw it in with my minimal luggage on the plane home to Canada. Any tips or places would be great!

I've heard that its ok to just walk into parlors and rip machines out of the wall and take them with you, its true!!

Are you serious? And how would I go about communicating this to a staff member? If you're pulling my leg I'll be very disappointed.

I think most machines are sold in bulk to dealers for either resale or scrap value.

Seriously though, I wonder if asking around the parlours for any old pachis would work

It might be worth a try, but run fast if the 'security' guys give you an evil stare

There are stores that sell them somewhere in Japan...I've seen the websites. Where they are and how it all works I have no idea. Guys like compirate would know.

Most parlors will have some sort of storage where the keep extra machines on hand for an emergency.

I think your best bet would be asking a parlor where a second hand dealer is located. Most any of the staff will know. If you speak Japanese it should not be a problem locating a second hand store. something in an afternoon. If you don't speak Japanese it of course will be more difficult.

Please remember the phrases "FURUI KIKAI" (old/ used machine) and "TSUKAERU" Does it work.

    Hope this helps.
