    Default StarWars Wiring Schematic

    Hi All

I have just bought my first pachinko ( StarWars older version). Now either the power supply is having issues or the CPU board isnt firing up 100%. Basically It tries to run with its lights and screen on, but cant get them to fire up all at once. If someone has a wiring schematic they could give to me, I might have half a chance of fixing the fault. The machine might fire up 1 in ten starts.
I have 6 pinballs, so now I'm good at fault fixing

Hi unfortunatly there are no schematics readily avalible for pachinko machines unlike pinballs but the good news is that this is a common problem with starwars in the lumina frame it is caused by a chip on teh video bord and there is nothing yo ucan do about it apart from turn off turn on leave to warm for a few minuets and then turn off and on again there have been numerouse threads on people trying to cure this but non have suceaded only daverob who hasent cured it but found the cause with alot of time and a can of freez spray

    hope this helps
My rice krispies told me to do it

    Welcome to PachiTalk the grunta

I think Doc answered that one for you, I have a star wars too that was quite rare in that it never used to misbehave,
    but now it does...

Seems to be very common with this model, and as long as you don't mind switching it on and off a few times it's not really that big a deal, just something you get used to

I think Star Wars is a super choice, especially for your first pachinko and trust you are able to play it properly when it has warmed up??

Just re-charge the "midi-chlorians" and you'll be fine.

    Thanks Hanabi

I have found the trick is to leave it on, even when it has'nt started properly. Then turn it off and turn it on again. Could be an issue with the power supply being off and cooling down, then once it's heated up a bit it is OK.
Oh , yes ,if you guy's can give me some hints how to play this sucker, it would be good as I'm a newbie to Pachinko. ( Its all Japanese to me ...)

Oh. I also have a blind child who loves Starwars, and gets a kick out of the sound effects this machine does.

I have the same issue with my SW's when it's cool temps (like 65 degrees).

I do the same thing, Turn it on, wait 5 minutes, off and back on again.

    Works every time
