    Use the Masamura Guage pattern, but put clear plastic strips between the nails so that the balls are directed to go where you want, shouldn't be noticeable except close up

    Yeah, my thought exactly... the dang thing get stuck and shoot and shoot and shoot...

    Good ideas all though. I don't think this would be the kind of clock someone would put in the bedroom so it would keep them awake.

    well... maybe Compirate might.

    Make it an alarm clock. When it's time for the alarm, the voice chip yells "FEVER" and thousands of balls go past the bell or maybe use a sound chip just to keep the weight down.
    Of course it would have to have the stock parlor volume levels!
