The price for these machines is usually in direct correlation with their presentation. Most sellers' goal is to simply "get it out of their basement, etc." as they are moving, wife is *****ing, or they intended to refurb it 10 years ago and never got around to it. The price of this particular machine is dropping (In my opinion) for 2 reasons: I don't find it particularly appealing in general, and 2, the picture is a bit blurry and the machine appears dirty and not shiny.

If these sellers were on this site, I wouldn't write this, but they typically "don't know anything about the machines" and/or "this machine doesn't work".

My suggestion if you want to sell your machine for maximum value would be to:

    1) Shine at least the heads of the pins. Thes machines present infinitely better with shiny pins...expecially if the picture is taken in the right lighting. A quick shine can be accomplished in 45 minutes or less (heads of pins only).

    2) Using the same pin-head cleaner (Brasso or Gel-Gloss) also clean/shine the outer metal frame. Even if it is slightly rusting or pitted, this will do wonders for the appearance. (15 minutes max)

    2) Use wet towel to wipe away excess dirt and grime in and around the shooter and overflow trays...not on cell obviously. (10 minutes)

    3) Take off a few of the easist to remove covers off the back and clean them with soap and water. (10 minutes)

    4) Quickely clean the inner edges of the frame in the back of the machine...cobwebs, loose grime, trash, etc that has gathered there over the years (5 minutes)

    5) Take your picture in good lighting...the shiny pins and frame coupled with the GENERAL clean appearance will sometimes transform a $10 - $20 machine into a $40 - $50 machine. Obviously, every situation is different, but if it were me, I'd at least shine the pins and frame and be sure to get the lighting right on the picture. I've found that the right picture can make a crappy machine look fabulous on Ebay...leading me to have buyers remorse afterwards while respecting the presentation at the same time.

    JMHO.

I'm not addicted to Pachinkos. I can quit at any time. Did I tell you about the three machines that I have on the way?
