    i need to finaly build my self a few cabinets.. i have not made any for myself yet

    Mrs Mopar wants a set for night stands for the bed room... Ma Mopar wants a coffiee table...

    went to the local Depot for oak yesterday... Ma Mopar wins.. i even have the plans in my head

    ...sorry for replying to such an old thread, but i just gotta say:

    I REALLY like this cabinet that you've constructed here, mopar!

    I will no doubt be referencing this cabinet design when I decide to give cabinet-making a go! Though I may attach a hinged cover/lid for the top hopper

    I really like the shelf for catching winning balls in a tray (just like in the parlors!), and the drawer below which hides lost balls and sorta makes them out of sight or "lost" - i like this concept better than cabinets that put lost balls right out in front of you as if you "won" them.

    Cruising these forums is all that is keeping me sane while I wait for the UPS man...

    a hinged top would be a nice addition

    left mine open for easy dumping and i like the way the light strikes the sphere's

    I really like this design, of all the ones I have seen this one looks to me to be the best.
    I think the addition of a blast gate would be ideal as you can shut off the balls that are
    still in the hopper above. I did notice on the Wanted and Ice Paradise machines that they
    use something very similar to a blast gate to release the pachinko balls into the lowest
    tray.
