7 mile slots

Okay, I went to 7 mile fair today, and MET David from 7 mile slots. Seems like a pretty good guy, if about 20 years younger than I thought he'd be...anyhow, he showed me the basics on the machines, since this was my first time 'up close and personal' with them. I turned myself on to what'll be my SECOND machine (sidenote: I'm still waiting for the paypal clearance on the money for the FIRST one), and my friend tagged along and decided that when she gets her taxes back, SHE will be a proud owner of a pachislo! So, not only did David's personality, great deal on the thousand tokens I bought today and willingness to answer silly questions (and forking out TOKENSSSSSS for us to play games didn't hurt any!!) make him a definite contender in the sales race...but another innocent bystander is now HOOKED!
I also took a few pics of his stand. I have nowhere to put them online to show y'all, but maybe he'll put them on his site...?

Oh, by the way...as an extra perk (the 'pachitalk hookup' plus showing up in person and dragging a pachislo virgin along kinda bonus) he threw in a token tray! Maybe it's cuz I was taking pictures and making the machines make lots of noise to attract attention? Dunno, don't care, it worked, and now I have TOKENSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

TTL, Did you see any bargains at the 7 Mile Slots when you were there? Oh by the way, how much is the tax in WI? The reason I ask is because all of the Pachislo around here are at least $100.00 more.

czy, if you view the sticky post under this subject by 7mileslots, you'll see a rundown of the machines he's got and their pricing. He's also offered the members of this forum 15% off for the first 5 (I think it's 5) and 25% off if you purchase 6 or more (please check his post for number you have to buy to make discount) machines. There's also a post slightly later, where it's broken down into 'original price / 15% off price / 25% off price', which gives a better idea what you can save.
the tax rate around here is 5.6%, depending what county you're in. And I think about the cheapest machine he had there went for something like $150? (and up to about $350)...if you're looking for a 'cheapie' machine, you might check the scratch n dent areas from the importers. Some fine machines for low prices, if you're not a perfectionist on looks.

alrighty! ty Lddrizzt for posting those! brief description is as follows. top left pic is my friend that has decided that pachislos are SO cool, she's gotta get one. top right and bottom left are just a couple other sides of the display, along with a couple locals browsing the selection, trying to stuff quarters into the machines. bottom right pic is david, the head honcho of 7mile slots.

it only LOOKS like it's 100 degrees in the pics.....January in WI doesn't allow us to run around half nude...that's what July's for!

Where in Wisconsin was this 7 mile slot convention? I'm from Madison.

7 mile slots runs a small booth out at 7 mile fair on the north end of Racine County. In summer, I think they've got hours 7 days per week, but over winter, it's just Saturday and Sunday from something like 9-5. If you take I-94, the grounds are located all of about 15 minutes south of downtown Milwaukee, within spitting distance of the highway.
