Default What's up with this vintage?

I'm assuming it has some type of custom semi-cyclical setup?

That just looks odd...maybe the top tray is broken and they just shoved something in there to hold it up??

    Where's the pic from??

That looks like the 'side-tross' I just picked up (I know Eddie has one, too).

I agree with MrGneiss; looks like a brace.

Yes it is a side tross model and that piece between the trays does not appear to be stock
but something rigged for whatever purpose.

    Ok, somebody's on something!

Here's the actual link from Craig's List in Houston.

    Old Pachinko Machine!

I called the number and some guy answered that sounded spaced out. Here's how the conversation went.

I am calling about the pachine machine on CL?
    What pachinko machine?
The one that is listed for sale on Craigs List.
That's my dad's machine and I didn't realize he was selling it.
But dude, it's your phone number on the ad?
I don't know.. let me called my dad.. Call me back in a few.
    Click

So I called back about two hours later... same space cadet...

I'm calling about the pachinko machine.
    Oh.. it's not for sale.
Oooohhh Kaaay, but it's listed for sale on CL.
I know, we've had it along time but he doesn't want to sell it.
I see, well I'm curious about the machine as it seems to have a different design than other that I have seen Can you tell me what the brace or metal bar is that is between the two trays in the front.
Oh man, I don't do know, it's my dad's machine.

    So I gave up.

    REALLY odd.

You should have ended the conversation "Darn, I was willing to go 300 for it...Considering it's worth 500.00"

It would have shown up again with a new price. He He He

    Wow..thats nutty...

I totally understand..you see... "I have an old pachinko machine that was left in this apt. i just leased and i have no use for it or a place to set it up..." and... "That's my dad's machine..we've had it along time but he doesn't want to sell it" mean the same thing when you're high on shrooms!!

Gotta love CL. Famous for posting ads for merch they don't have.
