Default Is it possible to open the front of the pachinko without key

So, I just got my first pachinko from Blue Hotaru. It is the Star Wars Darth Vader version. Can you open the front of the glass without a key. If so how does one go about doing this.

When looking at the back look at the far left, right inside the frame. Towards the top and bottom you should see 2 larger latches - those are to open the machine from the frame (not what you want). In between those two will be a very small latch, sometimes pretty flush and sometimes obviously sticking out. Press down on that and the door will swing open. They sometimes give a bit of resistance when newer.

    you can also try this

put your hand on the keylock, and hold it there. Then go around to the back, and try to look through to the front of the machine where your finger might be.

you will see some metal latches. if you apply some significant force up and/or down, then you will release one of two catches.

1 - unlocks the machine from the frame, and the whole machine can be swung out (not recommended for beginners LOL)

2 - the door that opens to give you access to the front of the machine.

if you unlatch the whole door DON'T PANIC. just close until it latches again, and then you know which one it isn't.

Both opening the door, and swinging out the frame will put a LOT of torque on the machine, so be careful that it doesn't fall over, when performing door operations

    Hope that helps

I've always had keys so I never looked to see where the latch is on this one.

Just looked, and there isn't a lever to open the glass door. The paw of the lock blocks the actuating rod from moving either way, it must be turned to open the door. A possible temp fix is to open the entire machine from the frame (put it on the floor and open it 90 degrees so it won't fall over) and remove the lock or just the paw. Then you can use a screwdriver to push the rod down to open the glass door.

Thank you. Didn't realize either that this frame was different than the others.

I just bought a Daruma Manekineko Hyper Collabo Texas Hold em slot machine at Goodwill but it didn't come with a key, there is nothing on the back or sides that would allow me to open the door. There is a opening on the back of the machine near the bottom that I can reach in and grab out money. When I plug in machine, no lights, nothing, I'm hoping the power switch inside will help. Any help in opening the front door without key?
