You need to either tap into the 24vac of the transformer you have or get a seperate transformer.

The yellow and red wires (with the 2 pin plug and socket) are the power lines. You can coil up the remaining wires(minus the 3 you connect to the frame for input), they're interconnects between battle counters and error or output lines.

Have you tested the counter to see that it works?

On some counters, there are contact and voltage connections. The Lumina uses contact connections.

Take a paperclip or small wire and taking each connector, connect each of the 2 wires together - there should be an area at the side of the connector that the bare metal can be touched. Then see what happens on the counter. When you find the one that makes the multi-digit numbers go up. There should be a couple of 2-digit, a 3 digit and a 4 or more digit, the above goes for the 4 or more.

Which of the sets of wires are your connectors connected to?

You look to have a red, a green and a blue set. On my counter, I use the blue set.

Thanks for your help Compirate really appreciate it. I have bought three battle counters for three machines and cant get any of them to work.
I have spliced them all fine to the main Pachinko Transformer Wires and they have all powered up but my difficulty is with connecting the three connectors to the machine so the battle counter registers the spins on the display.

I am really bad when it comes to technology and thought the splicing part would be the hardest but it hasnt been its just stressing me out now cause i dont know what i am doing wrong and doesnt help when you cant read the language.

I have taken some pictures if any of them help. Photos are of the actual battle counter, the part of the pachinko machine im connecting them to and the actual three wires from the battle counter that im connecting to the machine. If im doing anything wrong please let me know!!!

    Thanks again

If your using the green labeled lines you show, those are output lines - 接点出力 - something that would be hooked to external lights or the parlors computer system.

You want the blue lines, which are contact input lines - 接点入力 - contact input

    I think the connections are
    CN3 - Green
    CN4 - Red
    CN5 - Yellow

There's an adapter cable with the appropriate connectors that are supposed to be used with them. If those other connectors actually fit well, you could cut them off and attach them to the other wires (after removing the sockets).

Not sure what electronics stores are over there, but here's the plug that fits that socket.

Have you tried connecting the pins together while it's plugged in? Should make the numbers increase and a light show for a bonus.

    Gee this is soo stressful.
Yeh had a quick try connecting the two metal prongs and got the light show, and the start pocket kept increasing by one.
So will go to an electrical store now. What do i ask for?
Can i get an adaptor that plugs into the pachinko machine and then the other side plugs into the battle counter cords??

looking at the label from the wires:

    大当たり - Red/White - Bonus

    ス夕ート - Blue/Yellow - ?

    確率変動 - Black/Brown - Probability Fluctuation

Relax, your doing fine! You might be able to remove one of the sets of connectors from the machine (they're the same type) and take that in to see if they have a type that will work. Might bring the battle counter along too. Your best chance is to get connectors that will fit the frame and remove the black sockets from the wires and attach the new connectors to the wires.

Glad to know the counter works!

Probably from Japan, but your just as well off making something yourself.

Alright i actually got quite technical i opened up one of the battle counters switched a few of the cords around and now i have finally gotten it to work. The only thing is now where do i plug all the three cords. I worked out that the start pocket cord plugs into the top left hand corner out of the 8 connectors on the back of the pachinko machine. Where do the other two go??

The red/white - bonus line - ;connects to the plug labeled 大当り1 CN4, the blue/yellow connects to 大当り2 CN5, the other - I assume the one that counts the spins - connects to 図柄確定回数1 CN3

If your looking for the actual adapter, here's a seller on YJA that makes them. Looks like you can get them with any type of ends.

You would want 3 with the brown connector (shown on the left in the second pic) - machine connector - and the female connector - left in third pic. I think his price is for a full set for whatever machine you need it for.
