And they are in Bulwell Nottingfham about five mins from where i live.
The wife saw one she liked but thinks it makes her bum look big.
Then decided she wouldn't be seen dead in it

This is not quite on the topic of this thread but it does open the door for me to say something about my mom, Lee krahn. On March 23rd she had turned 70 years old. My sister had finally said that after three days of taking nitro she had to go to the hospital, period. That night at the hospital she had what was called a silent heart attack. We were not notified of this. We only found out when she had to go to a different hospital to have some stints put in. The doctor there made a reference to the elevated enzymes and when questioned only then said it meant she had had a heart attack and some damage was done. When back at the original hospital for recuperation she then suffered another heart attack.
My mother had stated that no heroic measures were to be taken to save her other than normal CPR and the like. My sister had medical power of attorney and had to make the call.
She obeyed my mothers wishes and on April 11th she went to meet my dad Gil in heaven.
    .
A few things have happened since. Two of my sisters underwent the task of packing up what there was of her things that she still had after downsizing when moving into a small apartment. Things that were to go to family arranged ahead of time and asking what others would like. When asked what I wanted I just said something personal. In my box of stuff there was two items of importance above others.
one was a fairly inexpensive wall clock with a pendulum. This clock would not keep time and would often stop altogether. For sometime it had hung on the wall, stopped and not running. On the day of my dads passing that clock had started up again without anyone touching it and other than replacing batteries it has never stopped running and keeps time. This would have been a better story if it had been my moms grandfather clock but that is the way it is.
The other thing was something that most people would not consider special. It is a small little chest that I think was to put jewelry or a ring in. I had seen it once before but had forgotten about it and didn't realize till I opened it what it was. Inside is one token. For when they had the house they had room for me to bring up some pachi's. I had given mom a Babel and would bring and switch out a machine from my collection when I would go up and visit. In the small low income apartment she could not have a pachi anymore. She kept this one token, said she would open up the chest once in awhile and remember good times.

I know this is getting long but please bare with me. I'm not known for short posts.
When my dad passed I purchased a plot. They were both to be cremated. I took the flat stone provided by the VA and set it in a base that I constructed and poured myself. Came time for the service I dug the resting place. For each shovel of dirt I think there is one tear in each and for every one put back in there is at least two.
The service for my mother will be in mid July. When I went to look at the finished lettering of the stone and the lettering of MOM & DAD on the individual marker stones the flowers, imitation since there is no water at the cemetery were again damaged by the weed eater. I decided to add an edge around the outside and keep the flower pots inside to better protect them. I've attached a picture.
In this cemetery is the grave of a person that was a vary good friend of my parents. She was basically poor but one of the shinning examples of what it means to be a good caring person. When she died of cancer her dead beat husband did not care and her three children were not in a position to help put here to rest. My mom and dad paid for a plot and the cremation. A head stone could not be afforded at the time. She was marked with a simple wood white cross. over the years it has upset me to see this wood cross and have it be whittled down by the weed eater. There was some three hundred dollars for each of us after moms expenses were taken care of. When setting up the finishing of the engraving of the stone I asked about a stone for here. If I dug and poured the base a small stone would be three hundred dollars. I thought this would be a fitting thing to do with the money. Her children are out of state and we have had trouble contacting them and verifying information for the stone. It was going to be dedicated if that is the correct tum at my mothers service. When I went to work on my parents plot I missed whoever installed a new cross by one day. It is a vary nice wood cross and don't see how now that I can place the head stone. I am vary disappointed. A lot of work went into the cross but still feel it is a wood cross that will meet the same fate as the original.

I am done. Thanks for your patience, David.
