Default Tenka Getter... new to this and have a few questions!

I won Tenka Getter on Ebay for a good price. I've built a case and now have the desire to get more machines! Its a SANYO machine. But first a few questions...

    1. What is the little round red buttom on the front tray for? Sometimes it lights up and you can drop pans on the kid's head and sometimes it answers the "cell phone" on the machine.

    2. There appears to be some long black "adjustment" plastic knob/pin on the back... any idea what it adjusts?

    3. VOLUME CONTROL!!! Holy sheesh its in a house not in a parlor anymore can I change that volume???

Thanks for the help if you can everyone! I'm looking forward to more machines! Ha ha!

Congrats on your first of many machine. To answer your questions.

    1. That would be the chance button it's used now and then to add excitement. It helps you interact with the machine from time to time when you press it the machine may go into a fever round (this is when you hit the jackpot and win lots of balls)

    2. Not sure a picture would help. Also lets see some pics of the machine (we like pics)

    3. Have a look round the back of the machine you should find somewhere a 3 or 4 position slide switch. This will alter the volume but even on the lowest setting it may be too loud. This is when external volume control come in handy such as L-pads.

    Welcome to PachiTalk tackindy!!

I don't know the gameplay of that one but as monkeyboy says, it is the chance button, which is used more on some pachinkos than others,
it adds more interaction to the game

Pics are deff good to help determine which switches you are looking at...

As for volume controls, it's not often a pachinko has an acceptable volume level for home use, although there are one or two out there, mostly we have to fit volume controls, etc, there are a couple of ways to do this, some members favour one or another, So it might be best to do a 'search' for the threads on this topic, to help you decide which is best for you

Ok, the first pic is the machine in my custom case (nothing fancy yet). The second is an overall look at the back. And the last has a big red button on the left (not sure what it is) and the black little knob in the center (no clue) and on the far right out of the pic is what I believe is a little bitty reset switch.

I think the black knob is your volume control.
    Give 'er a twist.

Nope not volume control. I got a "slot machine" mode for noise going and twisted it and nothing happened. I found a thing about it on the manufacturer's page... but of course its in JAPANESE! lol

The black 'knob' is actually a button, don't remember what it does. If you look closely, the inside end is over a small switch.

Throw us a link for that manufacturers page that says anything about those buttons. A really clear pic of any characters around them would also help.

    Just found my frame manual:

The volume control is behind where the shooter knob is. Open the main glass door. Just above the shooter knob just behind the panel should be a catch, I think you push it down and the shooter knob panel swings out. There should be a 2 position switch there. If the sound isn't low enough on the lower setting, perhaps replacing the resistors with something else would work

Large red button - RAM消去スイッチ - "RAM elimination switch"

The small black 'knob' really is a knob! It's to adjust the shooter.
発射強度の調整ツマミ - "Adjustment knob of discharge strength"

and the button below the numeric display on the back is the overall reset button.
